>Judy and Mary
Famous, didn't like them

>The yellow monkey
This was Namie Amuro's band, before she went solo, and got pregneat. Now broken up

>T.M revolution.
TK rip-off

>Bonnie Pink
Never heard of them

>Izume
You mean Izamu? He's a pretty boy if I've ever saw one. He makes Boy Goerge look female.

I don't do traslations for other people.

Halkun, since you live in Japan, you should remember Rurouni Kenshin. Is it true that it's soundtrack is sung by famous Jap aritsts? I love Dame! by suzukae mayo.

1) Please use the word "Japanese" not "Jap". "Jap" doen't make me feel very yummy inside.

2) Famous Japanese singers sing themes to TV shows, Radio dramas, Anime, video games, and commercails. They have no problems "selling out" because they "sold out" on day one. Singers are commonly hired to sing songs for companies. That's how it works. I never saw Rurouni Kenshin. I watch Japanese soap operas mostly. The are better than anime and have live people in them.

Wow. Things are way diffrent in my country. Famous artises rarely sing for soundtracks. They do their promos through cormecials only. Also, what does "giri giri giri no giri giri mate" mean?

Does anyone know where can I download the soundtracks for the drama series:

1)Beautiful life
2)Tell me that you love me
3)Power office girls(Maikako is damn hot, man!!!).

Once again, does anyone know where can I find Celtic remixes of FF4?

Hmm, Japanese Quests?
Yeah, if someone has checked my profile, (s)he probably had seen that Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of my favorite Mangas/Animes.
So how's your opinion 'bout Manga/Anime? Is anybody in here a Manga Fan, too (I guess halkun is  )

Well, another cool anime is 'Ghost In The Shell'. I've got a DVD Player now, so I'm planning to buy me the DVD-Edition of GitS. In which Mangas/Animes are u interested in?

BTW: NGE: Has anybody out there seen 'End of Evangelion'? It'll be released in Germany the next months, so I wanted to if it's worthys to buy it?

End of Eva, get it. It's good. Just think to youself at the beginning that it's just sweat on Shinji's hand... ^_^

After watching end of eva I felt all numb and tingley. I *never* had a movie do that before. A bloodring...cool!

I'm being vague on perpose. I suggest you watch end of eva before the last two episodes as it makes much more sense, and you have a feeling of closure.

Right now I'm buying the "Lain" series. That show rocks. It's an anime about the internet that doen't insult your intellgence. It's really deep though. I think they start explaining the plot around episode 9, which is a shame because I only have up to episode 7 and have no idea what the hell is going on. The idea behind the series is very simple. Let's take this post for example. I can use this post to communicate a part of me to you. But it's a lillte more because of the interactivity. A bit of my being gois into this communcation to. But what happens is the internet gets so "filled" that it starts to bleed into reality. I think anyway. It just might be about a geek girl who has been missing her prozac doses lately.

As far as manga goes, Kia Asamia is my fave author. Followed by Yukato Moriki (?) as a very very very close second (Did Gunnm, It was called "battle angel" in the states. Clamp is next, but just the artistic style. and Chiho Sato is pretty good if I want to get in touch with my feminie side (Utena) But if you want a good American manga artist, check out   http://www.megatokyo.com  It's cool. Piro just started chaper one after warming up with chapter zero. It's a real manga now.

Eva's ending is ... interesting. Of course, Gainax have given you more than one ending to find interesting ;D   Hopefully I'll get to see Death & Rebirth at some point, since I've only seen the TV series ending (dubbed too, which is a pity. Though the Eva dub wasn't as bad as some).

My current favourite anime: Karekano. Or to give it it's full name, Kareshi Kanojo no Something-or-other. Another Gainax mindfscker, but hey, I like anime that turns your brains into goo ^_^

Jari: Thanx for the issue 'bout GitS (European), b'cause that's the version I'm aiming to buy (hmm, was this sentence grammatically correct?).

others: Yo, I really didn't think that you guys were interested in Anime/Mangas, but I think it's quite good tht we share more interests than FF...

BTW: My friend's (Kadamon) going to sign up the next days - he's who I've got EVA from...

Jari: What, haven't you seen Jin-Roh, only the trailer? Full movie came on TV here in England last year. Quite good.

Halkun: I think you'll find many anime fans like FF

Oh, Anime on TV here is nonexistant, other than Pokemon. With cable/satellite/On-Digital, you get DBZ, Tenchi and Sailor Moon ... all crappy US dubs though. On the plus side, you do get the Scifi channel, which carries some OK anime now and then (GiTS, Patlabor, etc ... basically all of Manga UK's library). Jin-roh was the one exception; BBC broadcast it last year (English subs, too; I was well surprised by that).

Question: What's Ghost in the shell all about? I've seen the cool poster of the cyborg which reveals its internal machines.

ghost in the shell is my favorite anime. Its all about robotic inhancements and stuff. Not all US Dubs are bad. I personally prefer the dubbed versions of the eva episodes.

In Germany there's a program that sometimes broadcasts animes (VOX). Broadcasted were:
Plastic Little, Gun Smith Cats ( :)), Riding Bean, Neon Genesis EVA (!!!)(synchronized!), Bubble Gum Crisis, Armitage III (!), Big Wars and some others. I've recorded most of them (exept EVA  :()

I wish they would sub *something* in america on TV. When crouching tiger, hidded dragon come to the states, they subbed it in the theaters. That was the frist subbed movie Iv'e ever seen here. America suffers from TV that appeals to the lowers common denomonator. That means most of the crap is trite politicaly correct grabage that appeals to illiterites with short attention spans. I can't even imagine seeing NGE on the air without some christan group demanding it be pulled from the air because they find it offensive. Relogous subjects are a big no-no on american TV, unless you're a victem of some sort. People are complaing that Pokemon should be pulled because it's too violent for childrenand there is *gasp* magic in it that can pull kids to the occult.

Oh, and in america, cartoons are not allowed to say "die" "hit" or "death". Anything dealing with death must also be altered. Cartoons are also not allowed to hit each other, shove each other, or draw blood. (watch Dragonball, you will see flashes before hits and blood get edited out. Oh and holding a real gun (as opposed to a raygun) is a no-no now recently with the advent of "outlaw star"

Simpsons and southpark are exempt, but keep in mind that fox passed on Southpark. Now I bet they kicking themselves in the ass.

That's one reason I don't want to live in America ... it's a nice enough place, not expensive to live in, but the way some things are done (everything Halkun mentioned, political correctness really is over the top) would really put me off. Think I'll stick to England and maybe just go to the US on holiday

And the good thing about England is we're in the same DVD region as Japan, so we can get some anime DVD's as soon as they come out in Japan (the intelligent producers realise this and English-sub the first Japanese release so we can import them straight away without having to fansub them). Of course, the best solution is to (like me) make sure your DVD player is regionless ^_^ Nevertheless, it's good that Japan is region 2.

Hey ficedula!  You live in England?  Cool!  Y'know there IS a favor you could do america over there... KEEP GEORGE!!!!! WE DON'T WANT HIM!!!!*

*How's that for political correctness--we were correct, the votes WEREN'T!!!!!

EDIT:
Sorry, i'm still a little bitter... maybe I should live in england...

Hmm, this is turnin' into a political discussion 'bout USA, I guess...
Really, I don't understand why the american TV isn't allowed to show such things...
Hm, I've got to check if my DVD Player's regionless, too...  :D

BTW: I wanted to work on Ultima yesterday, but then I had no time. Perhaps I'll add this 'Save File'-Option today...(Oooppss, I forgot to release Ultima...ßETA 6...)

I live in the usa and not all cartoons are censored like that.. yeah ok Saturday morning on Kiddie network it probably is but i am not up that early.. South Park the Season premiere they said SHIT on Tv.. and they said the word 162 times! they had a little counter in the lower left hand corner of the screen..  :) it was damn funny.... i tihink once i was watching sailor moon and the evil guy said DIE!! as he flew at her or something.. i may be halucinating and i know i spelled that probably terribly wrong.. oh well.. but i think n e way.. TV is getting really crazy . i dont know what the laws are ne more.. but this country isnt bad.. besides not many other countries would mess with us.. China is kinda scaring me... (and yes that is arguable very much arguable) but still .. our military is hella messed up too.. he he he.. i think bush might actually be trying to strengthen it .. but i dont think its what it used to be...

Bottom line.. the vast majority of americans are lazy and dont give a shit.. like me..  :) we dont really wanna learn we dont really wanna have to work.. we just wanna get rich quick and float through life..  :)

Hmm, I think they don't dub every one b'cause the perhaps don't have time to...but there's something else:
Plastic Little (broadcasted) has been dubbed. Tita's voice was quite fine, but (BTW I've got an original Japanese Version /w subtitles) her voice is much cuter in the original version: "Michail,(...) , Balboa, Rooogggaa"  :D

Joey: I haven't seen any Anime Drama 'till now. I think dramas aren't the movies I like...
