Gameplay / FF7 hard mode mod by galenmyra
« on: 2013-03-09 13:17:30 »
Does anyone know where i can find a copy of all 3 discs for this particular mod(it was of the PSX version of the game and in PAL)? I lost my copys of them when I bought a new computer, I simply forgot to grab them before tossing the old machine out.

This is just something thought of and figured i would put up to see if others could find a use for.(i don't have any skills whatsoever to try to do anything like this)  Anyway what i was thinking of would be, having some sort of special events occur on the world map like having monsters attack a town.  I would think that the coding to do this is already around due to when you can see diamond weapon on the world map.

When a monster gets to a town pheraps things could change to a short cut scene showing a couple of monsters(use the in battle models maybe?) running around causing havok.  Then things would revert back to wherever you are and you head over to the appropriate place and try to deal with them.  Of course this idea will need to be tweaked around and discussed more, but its something to start with.

uh sorry, i should have mentioned i haven't actually grabbed the download and tried it yet.  That last post was made mostly out of curiousity is all.  I don't usually play mods until at least a disc of them is complete, though in the case of this mod i'm actually thinking about making an exception and trying it before the first disc is done anyway.

Do any enemies actually drop potions in the reactor, or do they all have to be stolen? Haven't been at that point in the game for so long that i don't really remember.
