"FFVII: Reunion Mod"

This Mod Is Only To Replace 3 Party Members... This is just a small mod, this is actually my first one too =D so please dont go off on me if you dont like it but i hope you like the outcome when i release this. The characters are secret but i left hints so enjoy :D

UPDATES:
04.21: 1st Character: Removed Tifa's & Cait Sith's Limit Breaks, 3rd Character: Removed Limit Breaks, Added Face Textures but theres problems
04.20: 1st Character: Avatar, Field Model Finished (BUGS); 3rd Character: Field Model Finished
04.19: 3rd Character: Battle Model, Avatar Finshed
04.18: Finished 1st Character With Battle Model, Updated Limit Breaks



BUGS:

HUGE!: @ Underwater Reactor when cloud hits the switch for the huge materia the game crashes... i think its because of "cait sith's" animation...
FIX: Switch Cait Sith With Someone Else

#1: "Cait Sith" has model bug animations... eh... nothing big... but its his jumping, tripping animations that have the problems... i dont know how to do this... nor fix also sometimes when he turns... stupid freakin cat...

ya i know it does XD well alot of people released seperate versions... its just... mostly every mod replaces cloud... and its annoying... cloud is cool so he stays... but i still need help on the models... the freakin textures wont stay on the damn face! ITS MAKING ME MAD! >:(

no no it does... it might actually thank you... this might prove something... errrrr well im not using the custom drives cuz im using a really old computer my new computer crashed about a weekago... so im on a 800 mhz processor... i could get work done... but from what ive read... i think... i need to use the custom driver to edit or swap the models? that doesnt make sense... the other states that i need to use new textures... but that doesnt make sense either.... damn if i have to use the custom driver cuz i dont have open gl on this piece of sh*t... if thats the case... this mod might have to die

P.S. - Also strawberries... since im using my old computer im not going to be using the prp or graphic mods for now... also i would have to get the author's permission to use em on my mod... and also lol... im still a newb on using 3ds max

hey dont be man  :D i wanna make this mod because i also wanna use it too XD no one had it... so if you want something you got to do it yourself... and best of all your going to have people praise about your work too if it turns out good of course... i just hope someone with experience on models and stuff like that takes a look at my problem

yes sir, it's as simple as placing a correctly named png in the correct mod path folder. Heck the mods board, there are some custom avatars released and it should help as a reference.

thank you sir... i found out after using freaking google under topic changing menu icons... its under a menu_us.lgp file btw thank you

EDIT: now i goto the replacing part.... it seems that biturn doesnt like to convert back to ff7 format... it does but i see a blank avatar.... does anyone have the omega program? every link that i searched for is down

Either use the modpath method or use Img2Tex.

If you use a modpath, they should be in your modpath\menu folder.
If you don't use a modpath, they should be in your Final Fantasy VII\textures\avatar folder.

You know, I never got my avatars replaced whenever I'd put them in \textures\avatar

thanks dark fang :D but im not using the custom driver since im on a old old computer XD im just editing the game to have 3 other characters that the people want without replacing cloud :D

for the avatar replace... i use omega which i found... after digging... finding a hoster who had a perm download link :/ but thank you :D but now i came across another problem... i tried replacing field model animations with cait sith and cloud... and its fine for like 4 seconds (standing & even walking)... then cloud's polygons looks all fucked up....

The file reconstruction project ought to help you out there. But, Vincent is a sticky model to mess with, since he has more than one battle skeleton. He has three if I recall correctly, but don't trust me, I haven't touched the stuff in about a year now. I just know he had a model type for each gun base he used (hand guns, shot guns, etc.).

I do know his base model is sfaa, off hand. But I don't know the others.

I had a stupid!! You wanted field data, not battle. XD.
Sorry, I just woke up.

Here is the info you want:
His HRC file is aehd, there are several p. files and animations. If you want to look that up the rest, open the model in kimera and just click on the individual parts. Or just check the File reconstruction project.

(or just open the HRC, and save it to a different folder, and there you have all the files you need.)
Sorry, I am a bit ditzy. Tried to help, not sure if I succeeded. :p
