Download Atunner, this is a tweak program to change your driver settings .

http://www.3dcenter.org/atuner/

Put 4x4 AA and Aniso 16x and save changes.

Nothing you can do. I got to know that It's a hardware problem, no software drivers can enable it.

The reason for this is that nvidia dumped all support for 8-bit texture palette after Gerforce 4. I gave up myself.

The problem is since detonator 41.09 Nvidia blow away the optimization of Anisotrofic filtering, because that option fix the pixeled backgrounds in FFVII for exemple.
With a GF4 MX and detonator 41.09 all problems is solved for sure.

Changes Beta 1 to RC2
* Fix a minor problem that the driver may hang on start up with KT 400 chipset, misc*
*Added Compat mode
*Added Experimental tweaks to D3d and OGL
*Now the files are compressed with 7Zip with exe file.
*Video problems fixed(?)- Please report.
*Fix crash on OGL
*Fix OGL Slowest, now Counter Strike CZ, Halo And DOD runs ok.
*Improved image Quality
*Solve texture problems in some games

You may post your results and issues. Thank you

yes but it works on a GF4 card, but not 6800 because the hardware support just isnt there.

What is the black box bug exactly? I didn't notice it and I have a Geforce 6 6800 GT.

Yes, I agree...

But, I think it's a hardware related problem 'cause  the "8-bit palletized textures" depends on something else . It uses an old way to compress textures called FXT1 that our new hardware no long uses (as far as i know). Maybe it don't depends only on drivers, but in the GPU architeture itself. If this is the case...oh well...nothing can be done.
But correct me if I'm wrong, please.
