It looks good. It's another in a long list of tools that help us take the system apart.

Thanks.

Hey that looks great!  More language support would be great, but that is a nice interface.

Sounds really cool.

If you need some translation proofreading done, I'm bilingual, and I'm sure anyone else on this board who knows a word beyond "bonjour" would be willing to give a hand.

Sorry.

I've lived in Canada my whole life, and here, when someone says "bilingual", we automatically assume English + French... obviously it's not the same everywhere else~!

Yeah, I speak English and French.

Cheers.

Hi Squall78!

I have a big problem... Please help me if u can!

We have a small team in Hungary because of we want to trasnlate the FF7. We translated the ingame text 85%... But we don't find out how can we traslate the menu and the "under fighting" text... Please if you have any idea please help us...

We use for the traslation a Polish programme, but I will try the Lovless too. I will like it... I think...

THX

Hi Owen_eX !

Well, fflevel.lgp contains only in-game texts. You can't find menu texts in this big file. Unfortunately I don't know where these texts are. I haven't find them in LGP and BIN files (are they in the EXE ? I don't know...). I'm currently working on Loveless 2.0 which will be really better than the 1.0 beta (no temporary file :p and no RAM use :p). But I will concentrate on this problem after that. :)

Loveless 2.0 is not yet released ^^'
I'm working on it just now.

I will update this topic when I will released it ! Before this evening, I hope (it's 11:20 for me).
Then, if it's convincing, I'll translate it in English.

I have promised Loveless 2.0 for today but it will be available tomorrow !
I'm very satisfied by its new performances :p.

- Speed up
- No longer temporary file
- No longer 'heavy' use of RAM (125MB -> 10MB max.)
- No longer 'Compilation Phase'
- Fix stability

I will add new options too and rewrite Search procedure (that's why I can't provide it for now).

Hi !
Just a little word to say I will release Loveless 2.0 in a few days or maybe today if I have any time.
I'm in late but I had some problems with Loveless.

But now it's almost ready.

 :-P

Dont worry about giving release dates, trying to force out programs WITH release dates often means theyre messilly made with heaps of bugs, take your time to iron out the bugs. Program looks nice too, not something i would use, for now anyway, peraps rewriting the whole story might be fun? ffvii ingame spoof anyone?

Thanks CaptainNoobtastic.

I wrote mainly this program to re-write french version of FF7. In fact, french translation is frightful  :x
But others can use it to re-write story for fun :)

Use it as you want :)

so far it only edits text?

Does it do that in the normal amount of text windows (if so does it increase the text-box/window size to fit in large amounts of text) or can you add extra boxes to fit all the text you want?

And can you add text where there wasnt any before? (when its not in response to talking with other characters, i mean when its talking in moments integral to the story line)

for example when sephiroth is telling cloud he is a clone, can i make it so that barrett interjects with the comment "BUT I LIKE CHICKEN" halfway through? or would this (maybe) get implemented in another version (if you decide to make one)?

And also, an english version of the program, wouldnt that mean just changing the text on the interface?

EDIT:
Also, that initial "it only edits text?" was because i was thinking of something else, i wanted to know if it can do anything to change the text in menus, when you level up, the text that appears in battles (both for attacks and other things, for example in the battle with that first boss, the robotic scorpion type monster, when someone says to watch out because its tail is up, can that be changed? and can that kind of thing be added to anywhere? or would it have to be edited where it already exists?), generally id like to see the ability to edit every bit of text within the game, basically so the whole story can be rewritten

This program "just" allow you to edit existing texts. You can't add new texts (like Cosmo by Ficedula).
I would like to add capabality to resize windows but I didn't find where windows-size are stored...

Finally, about English translation of Loveless : it only concerns Loveless's interface. Loveless can edit french, english, spanish etc... versions of FF7.
It's "universal" lol.

It would be awsome to see an english version. I'm sure there are typos in FFVII that need fixing.  :-D
