Do pretty much what Three said. I just wanted to add this:
If you're running this from a Win9X/ME box, create a boot disk, REM those lines on it, and use it. If you're running Win2K/XP, and not using NTFS, create a boot disk from a Win9X or DOS machine, REM those lines, and use it. If you ARE using NTFS . . . well, try copying the game to a CD and running it from that (just make sure your boot disk has DOS CD-ROM drivers.)
