As part of Final Fantasy's 25th anniversary celebration (which is this year) and as a way to preserve the memory and history of the franchise, Square Enix Japan has uploaded 14 old FF trailers to its official YouTube account.
Sadly, only the Japanese trailers were released.

Just started playing this a few days ago on the epsxe emulator due to ff7 not working on my system anymore still on 1st disc near the beginning im at the fire canyon (i think that's what's it's called) so far the game is great! I had this game for god knows how long but never really gave a go at it..well im an idiot and ff9 after i got stuck on disc 3-4 years ago i left it and just recentlywhen i was playing it it was pointless as i have forgotten absoloutely everything -_-...

Seems that when Square talks about "original" THEY mean it (...literally)!  :mrgreen:

These are old ads. They probably don't have 'em in HD. Even if it was HD, it'd just be upscaled.

That's what I meant with "original" ;) footage... in any anniversary usually anyone would use original clips for the sake of "nostalgia"...

I should state that this video for ff8 was quite rare and it shows Squall kinda smiley on the way to Dollet mission and a soldier in Quistis's place operating the weapon... unlike in the original game release.
