FF7Music hasn't been updated for awhile, and Ficedula doesn't really plan to anytime soon (so I hear). You'll just have to sit tight for awhile, or try your luck with one of the older versions of FF7Music. However, don't expect any positive results with that..

I never got any versions to work. I got the same runtime error as well, so you're probably not doing anything wrong.

I got that runtime error as well, but then I read on fice's website that latest version of ff7music doesn't work with versions of FiceLib newer than 1.10. You can get an older copy of FiceLib at http://aaronserv.dyndns.org/hosting/ficedula/ or you can get an (unreleased) updated version of ff7music.dll here that should work with newer versions of FiceLib: http://www.dcs.warwick.ac.uk/~csuzs/ff7music.dll
Actually, now ff7 runs for me with ff7music, but it plays both the midi music and the custom mp3's at the same time! Also, it crashes whenever I quit, which it didn't do before. Has anyone had this problem?

go to This topic and read it. You should find an answer there... BTW, use the .psfs, not the .mp3s. :D

Indeed, I'm glad you recognized the reference...not many people do. I guess you could say I'm a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien  :D
