Title: 7th heaven won't convert

hello. I had 7th heaven working with my install on a secondary drive that crashed. I have now redownloaded my steam version to a new folder c:\games\steamlibrary\common\final fantasy vii but now when I try to run the convert tool it hangs on "patching". I  think it may be something in registry but the ff7 registry tool on the forums doesn't seem to work, don't know if it's because I have the steam version or Windows 10. thanks

In several attempts to get 7th Heaven running over the past year I have been always stopped at this problem. The 7H game converter just holds at "Patching..." and seemingly never does anything to the files regardless of where I put them. I'd love if anyone had any idea what's going on here? I'm also on windows 10 and have had this problem working both with an original '98 copy and the steam version. It's very frustrating to always get stuck here...

Never mind, you said you already tried what i said...
I'm clueless then

A far fetched idea i guess is if you happen to be using 2 screens or just using the extend feature.
The window that is supposed to pop up may be off screen?
