Go to the LGP FILES tab and scroll down to the FLEVEL.LGP section.

Is there a downloadable version of this for all the sections in Excel or PDF? I'd be able to convert these to downloadable versions to different formats for offline use if so. I tried several different ways to get these to image, html --> pdf, etc., and all has failed.

When I click download I get a file called Setup_ODM.exe. Is this correct? I thought this was manual install.

You should get a .RAR file. That setup file is probably from the adfly link. Wait for the counter to hit zero and then click the "Skip Ad" on the top right corner of browser and the real file should start downloading. If issues persist, I'd recommend using an ad blocker.

I have seen your work a few weeks ago which is the reason I actually started playing FF7 / 8 (once) again. Sad to see you're not motivated to continue those types of projects anymore. However, it's understandable from your point of view.

The way I see it, the remake most likely will not be turn based and the story will probably be altered in some form or fashion. I would've liked to have seen more of your artistic style / talent in the game. Even after the remake is released, the old and new will have two completely different feels to it. With your artwork involved, it would've gave the game a better feel without ruining any of the original feel to it.

I'm tired. Probably didn't make too much sense. Oh well. Off to bed. Thanks for contributing your art into this game along with years of dedication!  8-)

Releases / Re: [FF7PC] ChaOS -Character Overhaul Seven
« on: 2015-06-18 19:32:55 »
Hi Kaldarasha,

Is there a way to use ChaOS in conjunction with Reunion3c? It always seems to crash right at the start.
I even unchecked Model Overhaul during Reunion3c installation, to not conflict with ChaOS.

I was having issues with the game crashing after installing Reunion also. I've went through and tested a bunch of the options to see which ones would crash the game. I came to the conclusion that only "Script fixes for flevel.lgp" was causing my game to crash. I have all the mods installed from 7th Heaven Catalog except for:

Animations (instead I use "ChaOS Animation")
Menu Overhaul (using menu overhaul with Reunion instead)
Gameplay - Difficulty and Story

I didn't test "Weapon", "60FPS Battles", or any of the "Patches" (including "Break-9999HP patch") in the Reunion's install options. Everything else works fine.

hi,

Is the link to DL dead ?
Is there an alternative link ?

Download link is down right now, don't know exactly when it will be back up, feel free to post an alternative DL.

Here's an alternative link.

Are these better quality than the Steam videos? I thought the Steam version's videos had a higher source resolution.

I believe these look better than the ones that Steam provides. It really comes down to preference I suppose. Compare for yourself and choose. Here's a screenshot I took (using Media Player Classic) for a quick comparison:

Or here, in game with 'Keep Aspect Ratio' Enabled:

Or here, in game with 'Keep Aspect Ratio' Disabled:

Steam is on the left; Project NORG on the right.

I'll post this here also as long as it's OK. I've uploaded all the videos here with just the names changed so you don't have to change them manually yourself. I've added a 100% recovery record to the .RAR. This makes the file slightly larger than the original supplied by Damocles233. Only thing not included here because it isn't needed for the Steam release is the Eidos logo.

You can download it HERE.

Of course, all credit for these go to Damocles233.

Project NORG by Damocles233

This should be added to the FMVs section! I personally like these a tad better than the others listed. Only issue with his download is that you would have to rename the videos yourself. I used a program called 'Bulk Rename Utility' to do this myself in about 5 minutes (could have been a lot quicker if I knew right off the bat how to use this program) or so.

Not sure I can do this. If not sorry; a mod can remove this part if need be. But HERE is a download link to the FMVs with all of them renamed so you can just copy them over into your movies folder. It's slightly bigger than the one Damocles233 provides. My guess is because I added a 100% recovery record to the RAR file.

FF7 Tools / Re: [FF7PC] Mod manager - 7thHeaven (v1.36)

So you downloaded IRO mods from somewhere here at Qhimm and copy/pasted them into ...mods/7thHeaven? That's not how it works. You need to use the import button in 7H to install it. Before you do that, go to Workshop --> Settings and set up your folders. I would suggest C:\Games\Final Fantasy\mods\7th Heaven for your Library Location.

I knew that haha. I figured I'd be able to store the .iro files in that same folder. I didn't expect 7th Heaven to assume that the .iro files I stuck in there were mods that it had already installed. I just wanted to keep all the .iro files in one place so I didn't have two folders with iro's. That way I would've been able to find w/e a lot easier. I'm kind of a neat freak with files on my PC. I try to keep everything organized and together.

7H doesn't create folder locations, so make sure it exists before launching the game or it will crash. You are probably seeing it listed with the ID tags in 7H because you copy/pasted them. To uninstall a mod, right-click the Installed button and choose to Uninstall.

You're probably right. It was late and I was tired when I was trying to setup 7H again. I was pasting the ones I downloaded previously back into that folder hoping I wouldn't have to download/import all the mods again. I probably didn't remove them all before giving up and just re-downloading them.

Anyway, I got everything setup correctly and running well the day after I made that post. Thanks for the reply! I'll know now not to make these mistakes again

Got some crashes with 7th Heaven. Maybe it's just a dumb user error or could be some kinks that needs touched up on in this great program. So I'm posting these crash logs along with the steps I took to produce these. Hopefully they're useful to whomever to fix these or for someone to tell me how much of an idiot I am  :P

Info that may be useful:
FFVII Installed in: C:\Games\Final Fantasy VII
UAC is off
Windows 8.1 - Admin Account - Took full control of Games folder before modding FF7

Crash Log:

Everything was working fine. So I went ahead and downloaded (5) .iro mods (not listed under the "Catalog" tab) and stuck them inside the "...\mods\7thHeaven" folder. Unknowingly, 7th Heaven was still loaded as I stuck them inside that folder and ran 7th Heaven again. This is when I got the crash and noticed I already had 7th Heaven open. I closed out of both and tried opening 7th Heaven again to see this crash again. Can't open 7th Heaven without getting this same crash. Removing those .iro's I stuck in that folder didn't stop the crashes. I also tried removing ALL the .iro files in that folder and still got the crash. It may be worth mentioning that I had the Music and Sound mod downloading but cancelled it. It was still in the "temp" folder before all this happened.

I had trouble getting one of those .iro files imported into 7H by itself. I got it fixed myself, but could maybe another reason for this issue? The mod in question is Bloodshot's Tifa Model.

Anyway, I found a way to fix 7H from continuously crashing on me by deleting the 7thWorkshop folder in %appdata% along with the other 7th Heaven folders in the game directory and basically started over from scratch with 7H.

Found one other issue. After starting back over and downloading the mods I desired under the Catalog tab, I noticed something strange after they finished downloading. I had two of the same mods listed under the Library tab. There were three separate mods like this. One was named correctly, the other was named by its .iro file name (eg: One was: Battle Models - Enemies. The other was: cd1050af-170a-4391-9633-b0754cb043d3_Battle_Models___Enemies_1.0). Maybe from downloading too many at the same time? I had about 6-7 downloading at the same time, maybe a few of them finished around the same time and caused this issue. I don't know, just speculating. I uninstalled the ones that had them long list of numbers/letters which left the correctly named ones. Tried running the game and got crash from 7th Heaven...as I expected. I had to uninstall both for 7th Heaven to work (I didn't try to deactivate it and play) since that mod was actually fully uninstalled and the correctly named one was still activated, hence causing the crash...I would think anyway.

Releases / Re: [REL] FFVII Battle Scene Enhancements
« on: 2014-06-02 18:54:12 »
Hope it's OK to post this here.

While trying to repackage this into my battle.lgp with ulgp, I came across an error that says "Not enough storage is available to process this command." I couldn't find anything on this site that addresses this error. So I took a wild guess and figured enabling the 'Large Address Aware' (LAA) flag on the exe would do the trick...and it actually worked! I am able to repackage it now without any issue.

I believe you absolutely need 3GB+ of RAM and a 64-bit OS for this to work. Maybe someone more knowledgeable here can correct me on that. These are the steps I took:

Quote
1. Make a backup of the EXE ('ulgpGUI.exe')
2. Download and install "CFF Explorer" from the NT Core site
3. Launch "CFF Explorer" and open the EXE (i.e. 'ulgpGUI.exe': File -> Open -> navigate to the ulgp install folder and select 'ulgpGUI.exe')
4. In the left side of the window, choose the "File Header" section under "Nt Headers"
5. Look on the right side for the row starting with "Characteristics", and the "Click here" field. Click there. (A context menu appears for the next part).
6. Select/enable the checkbox for "App can handle >2gb addresses" and click 'OK'.
7. Save the file (File > Save).
8. Exit "CFF Explorer" and try to recompile the lgp file again.

I originally found out about learned about enabling this flag when modding Oblivion a while back. You can read more up on this at TES Nexus Wiki

Bootleg Questions / Re: [WIP] Tifa's Package
« on: 2014-06-02 18:08:30 »
I've searched for a while and can't find a link for "HD Bottles". Any chance anyone has this? I'm not quite fond of the AC Vials.
I'm not using Bootleg to install mods for me so I can't get it that way.
