All the other mods work, just this didn't, and how you can say i have a pirated copy? O_o
Just because some idiot changed my avatar?
P.S.
by the way no one ask your help.

1) You're talking to the idiot GLOBAL MOTHERHELLOING MODERATOR who changed your avatar.

2) He changed your avatar because of this thread http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=11757.0 where you illustrated that you had the "Ultima" or "Ultimate" edition, which can only be obtained through piracy

3) Did you think we'd forget about the contents of that thread, because we're here instead?  Didn't think so.  You can kindly go PONIES off now.

Just because totall9999 has an attitude problem doesn't mean you need to as well. I cleaned up your message a bit. ~Covarr

Battle of Gundabad, it's a rip-off of Dominion, but until the official Dominion app comes out, this can help hold me over.

Well that was what I was considering for from the beginning... I have some friends who are nice designers but I don't know which tools do they need to make textures for the models.

It's an Unreal Engine 2 game, that should answer enough questions (If it doesn't, then do you really think you have the know how to advance any further).

129
I've found those already but haven't noticed any graphic update with the same story. Please guide me if you know any. Thanks!

With postal 2, higher res textures would be pointless without creating a shitton of new models as well, considering how many characters are on screen at any given time, and how important they are to gameplay, and I dunno about you, but I don't feel like making a shitton of new models.

Uhh...  Seriously dude?  That game has a pretty decent modding community.  Hell, RWS has even released some third party mods with the game (examples: A Week In Paradise was one of Kamek's mods, that he helped them tweak and fix, and it got released on the Postal Fudge Pack, along with Eternal Damnation, a survival horror mod (and still one of the best mods I've ever seen for a game)

Completely Unrelated / Re: Confessions of a Tetris Addict
« on: 2012-07-12 18:56:38 »
I agree. I had the pleasure of seeing a Coin-Op Tetris (the original too!  :-D) at an arcade in Daytona Beach, Florida that was located underneath a human sling shot ride. Unfortunately, it was out of order.

There's an establishment in my corner of the globe known as "Barcade" which is exactly what it sounds like; a bar, and an arcade.  All games are 25¢ a piece, and amongst them is a Tetris machine.  They refuse any games beyond 1989 (they turned down both Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter II).  They keep everything in awesome condition, and serve awesome beer, and last time I was there, I got #4 on the Tetris Machine.

132
They really don't, actually.  While Aali's driver makes running the game so much easier, it's not impossible, they could release it via an installer similar to GoG

133
^^^^^^^ I was thoroughly confused by that as well.

Vgr isn't exactly known for being the brightest.  I'll give him credit though, he does try.

134
Porting a game with such engines as FF7 or FF8 PC into the Source Engine would totally break it. They would need to rewrite it. Would they? No. They'd rather spend money on shitty sequels (which don't even take the fan's opinion on it) and throw away the good old REAL Final Fantasies.

....you....I....Where did you get the impression that FF VII, FF VIII, and the Source Engine had absolutely ANYTHING to do with the games being on the Steam servers, and the domain name being registered.

135
...bootleg...hardcore mode.

You answered your own question

I have Half Life 2 in an orange box collection disk for PC. i didn't know it required steam to play since I haven't installed it yet... When I played HL1 back in my old days it didn't need any of these crap that all new age piece of sh*t are nowadays require on line connection and crap... Instead of criticizing maybe you should think about that you are a part of those who accept these crap...

Oook... Judge Dredd...whatever...

I can become your therapist if you wish...

Maybe you should get your facts right about what Steam is, before you bash it.  Saftle hit it on the head, you only have to be online ONCE to authenticate.  Beyond that, my personal opinion on piracy has no bearing on the matter, the forum is against piracy, and you were talking about half life 2 without Steam, something only possible via piracy.  Even beyond -THAT-, Steam is one of the greatest things the industry has going for it right now.  A fully digital marketplace, with minimal, non-intrusive DRM, with social networking built in.  This one piece of software, serves the same purpose as the Xbox 360 Dashboard, the PS3/PSP XMB, and the Wii shop, and it was released in 2004.  If it weren't for Steam's existence/success, consoles probably wouldn't be where they are now.  So before you call Steam "new age crap" give some thought to what it has done for the industry, and how it has multiplied the convenience factor for PC gaming.  Full digital backups of THOUSANDS of games, on top of minimal DRM that allows you to install the games on as many computers as you want, as long as you log in ONCE to verify the legality of the installation, and a nice, organized interface to browse through your games.

So please, explain to me why Steam is crap, I would -LOOOOOOOOOOVE- to hear your (highly flawed) rationale.  Seriously, I'm really interested in hearing what a mental midget has to say on the matter.

Hey, I understood what is written in the official page, that if we have any of the games listed installed we can run the mod. I suppose that the fact that SDK sourse is already included after installing the game is taken for granted. What I didn't get is why should we use steam for that... since we already run HL2 which will include SDK...

You CLEARLY didn't understand what was written on the page, considering you can't spell source, and didn't realize you needed Steam.  Also, if you didn't know that Half Life 2 requires Steam to be running (and that's the way it has been since day one), you either A) Pirated the game or B) Are functionally disabled.  I'm willing to bet it's a bit of an amalgamation of both.

138
Regardless, you will need Steam installed and running to play, since the Source SDK(and every other Valve product since Steam's creation) requires it, it'll only use a small amount of resources while running, even less when it's minimized to the tray,  I have 8GB of RAM and for me it's using 160MB right now with most of the Steam windows open, it uses about 30MB while in the tray, although it varies dependent on other factors.

I have 1GB of RAM, and it doesn't cause me any issues.  My theory is just that leonhart7413 is just functionally disabled and doesn't quite understand how these things work.

Oh, before I forget, I corrected your spelling errors.

139
Alright.  I'm going to be very blunt, and put it as simply as possible, in the hopes that you will somehow manage to put this together.

Black Mesa Source, is a modification to Source engine games.  However, the changes are so vast, as it is an attempt at a remake of Half Life, it is more akin to being it's own game.

If you own ANY source engine game, such as Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Half Life 2 Episodes 1 & 2, and so on.  You will be able to install and play Black Mesa Source.

If you do not own any source engine game, you can download and install the Source SDK, and play Black Mesa Source.

This means, that no matter what, if you have a computer that meets the minimum specifications to play Black Mesa Source, you can play.

If you cannot understand it at this point, then I cannot help you, and I advise you seek the nearest assisted living center.

Enemies can't revive each other, can they? That flowchart example seems like it'd be better for players than for enemies.

That being said, I really like this concept. I wouldn't want to overuse smart enemies, because even something as simple as enemy behavior (while retaining existing moves and stats) can massively impact difficulty, but I could see this being very useful for coordinating specific enemy groups or bosses.

Enemies can most definitely revive each other.  Look at the SAMPLE boss in the Shinra building, or Gi Nattak.

Very nice idea there Bosola. As a former C++ programmer (I said former! I wouldn't release anything in the near future), I'd be interested to debug and seek for errors. JS isn't THAT different from C++, so it actually wouldn't be that hard.

You're as much of a former C++ programmer, as I am a former crackhead.

Haha I was expecting this would have thousands of users... is it allowed to discuss in there?  ???

I admit I got scared when I signed in there only ff7 VIPS lol Aali Covarr_ wtf?  ;D

Nope, only the cool people (as well as Vgr and Pitbrat), are on there.  You have a chance here to prove yourself to be the coolest of the cool.  If you succeed, I suggest getting yourself a real IRC client, and stop using a browser-client.

143
sorru i dont understand:S

Go here: http://esper.net/publicirc.php

Enter whatever you want as a nickname, and enter #qhimm.com in the channels field

EDIT: it generally helps if you say something when you get in there, and wait around a bit.  Just because I'm Hermóðr here, it doesn't mean I am there.

I'll be in there.   I won't be around for a few though, I'm headed to take a shower.

EDIT: I'm back, and I'll be online whenever you are.

It is possible to speak here?

Well, if you didn't break the rules consistently, you wouldn't have been muted.  Then, to get around your mute, you created a second account, which is ALSO against the rules.  So enjoy your impending ban.

147
here^^ http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=8560.0

Well someone is going to get a ban very soon.

ff7maniac Y U NO ABLE TO FOLLOW RULES?!

Would it be possible to play with mods?

You really don't get how this stuff works, do you?

149
Good to hear you found everything easy.  Just one question; what do you mean by "official"?

150
I'm not a resident evil fan, but I saw the logo of this one, and I dunno about you guys, but the stylized 6 looks a bit like a giraffe getting a blowjob.
