I know we -JUST- had a conversation about civility; but I'm sorry, there's no place for it here, when you're literally saying that gay men are pedophiles because they're gay. Covarr, sl, obesebear, whoever sees this; if you have to ban me, go right the fern ahead, because I simply can't help myself here.
You are, without a doubt, one of the most disgusting piece of strawberries human beings I've ever had the misfortune of learning about the existence of. You have nothing but hatred and contempt in your heart, and a people like you are the reason why there will never be world peace. It's not because of Islam, or black people, or homosexuality, or whatever your flavor of the week bigotry is. I sincerely hope you experience nothing but pain and misery for the rest of your (hopefully short) life. You wish nothing but pain and misery on others, and are genuinely of no value to society. Your opinions are invalid (and yes, opinions -CAN- be invalid. If I'm gonna do anything more serious than closing threads, it's generally only going to be when I see the potential for real trouble. The level of disagreement in this thread is enough for me to keep an eye on it, but not enough for me to take action (and I hope it doesn't reach that point).

They're basing their entire article on unconfirmable reports and presenting it as fact. It only serves to harden an already biased audience even if it is true. The entire idea hinges on people's inability to think critically about the source of information they are presented. The Internet contains an uncountable amount of "fictional truths" that people just believe because they "read it somewhere". That is why some idiots don't vaccinate their children and we have a surge of easily preventable polio outbreaks.
The FBI wouldn't "hush it up" that a presidential candidate is involved in a pedophilia trafficking ring. That thinking preys upon people's desire to see politicians or any authority figure as corrupt and indicative of some conspiracy against them or use it as an excuse to vilify an individual or group.

No, it's not that I've decided there's nothing in it. It's just that there's nothing that warrants a search. Speaking in code is simply not enough to infer that anything nefarious is going on. You can bitch and moan about how evil the Clinton family is all goddamn day, but that doesn't make it so (not that I'd particularly argue that point, but a lot of people, yourself included, seem to have some sort of vendetta against them, and take it to an extreme where they can't take a shit without it being the biggest disgrace in the history of time. I find it even stranger that you feel so strongly about these issues, given that you have absolutely no vested interest in American politics). There's literally no evidence of anything illegal going on. There is absolutely nothing that warrants investigation from a legal perspective, and honestly, that is the only perspective that should be taken in this matter. Any other perspective comes to conclusions through the use of nothing more than conjecture; and even if there WERE a pedo ring (as ridiculous an idea as that is), there simply isn't enough evidence to warrant any sort of investigation that would yield any results. You can argue it's shady as fuck, and I won't even argue you're wrong; but the ideas that there is a pedo ring (or some other nefarious meeting) and the idea that whatever is going on must be investigated are ridiculous and have no footing in reality.

You're mixing up conjecture and evidence. See, when someone goes "this person knows these people, and they all meet here" that's called conjecture. When someone provides a physical object or someone's testimony, that corroborates all or some of it; that's called evidence. Literally 100% of this is conjecture with 0 evidence of anything dodgy.

Android has a few roadblocks, and iOS may require a jailbroken device. I'm looking into the possibilities of these now.

« on: 2016-11-30 17:50:29 »You won't be able to add the pc mods to an emulated version of a ps1 game. But you can probably add some mods to the actual games for android. Just purchase those versions from the Google play store and then plug your device into your pc and browse the folders until you find a file with a name like battle.lgp. Then just replace those files with custom PC lgp files. If the android file structure and type is the same then that should work, but it may be very slow depending on the device. Probably going to be a lot of trial and error.
Sorry for the necropost, but this thread is relevant to something I've been meaning to post about.
The Android port of the game is actually just an interpreter for the PC version (few things changed for language reasons, like a 1.02 exe for every language is included). Even the .exe is included in the .obb that Square ships with the game; on top of that, the .obb isn't even anything fancy, it's just a .zip. The only thing holding us back from modding is that the app runs a hash check on the .obb (haven't checked what kind yet, probably md5 or sha256) before starting. Theoretically patching this out so we could mod it would be trivial (but I can't hex edit for shit), especially since AFAIK that's the only copy protection on the game (which is easily defeated by.... well.... just having the .obb in the right place), so cracking it would fall in a bit of a grey area, so idk if anyone is up for it.
As far as iOS goes, I'm waiting on an iOS 10 Jailbreak so I can really see what's going on, and edit things without having to sign an ipa every time. I suspect it'll be a lot more open though; iOS doesn't visibly do any file checks it seems; and seeing that iOS has a much more locked down filesystem, it seems totally reasonable that it'd be open for modding with a jailbreak.

His abuse of Shera is part of a broader storyline that culminates with that tank exploding and her having done the right thing. He realizes that when the tank blows, and realizes that he's been a douche the whole time, that's the fucking point. You can kick and scream all you want about "special little snowflakes" being unable to handle shit; but you're just being an idiot looking for things to kick and scream about. You've shown over and over again that you're a sexist xenophobe, that can't handle anybody not agreeing with that viewpoint. Fact of the matter is; the guy posting is right in that he isn't supposed to really like the guy (despite his misunderstandings that A) Shera is his wife, which is explicitly stated in that very scene he's talking about, and B) he's never shown to, or hinted to be, beat her), he just missed the part where it's part of a larger storyline.

It could be due to a number of things. It could be due to the card aging poorly, it could be due to unstable drivers, it could be due to unstable Windows 10 drivers, it could be due to a failing power supply, it could be due to a corrupted install of the drivers, it could be due to Windows 10 being a version of Windows and thus just not working right. Without any logs, or system specs, etc. etc. it's really hard to diagnose a problem like that.

One in particular sketch he did he plays a homeless man who confesses to another homeless man that he steals from restaurants specifically to go to jail where they're given a place to sleep and given three meals a day. It's ironic that the government treats its criminals better than it treats its homeless.
The idea behind jail is it's a place you want to stay out of, not one that you can get pampered in. Enough people made enough stink about the living conditions that most minimum security facilities have been made better than some two star motels.
In the end; this leaves me to wonder if this all means we need to treat prisoners worse; or treat everyone else better.
