now that u mentioned that, it was brought to my attention... and I think they were not deleteable b4

General and Unrelated have always allowed deletion, because typically no information of importance would be lost if someone left and decided to delete all their posts.  Game Tweaking, Tech related and support should still all not allow deletion

Few hours - about four. After a particularly heavy load, the host developed issues with the database server, which went down and damaged the database while doing it. Then it was mostly the matter of waiting for the Master to wake up.

Main page does not pull anything from a database AFAIK, and while the wiki probably does, it apparently behaves better in case of a database server crashing, or just wasn't under as much of a load as the forum database was.
