Well, I'm a major Sephiroth fanboy, so I'm going to cut the Super Nova equations into my wrists.

ROFL  :D

EDIT: P.P.S. Hermoor IV isn't even online anymore.  Guess he really is settling down.  Either that, or he's making preparations for the great storm.

Well, what time is it in sweden now? Probably time for him to go to school, so he can't poast much now. That's my guess. Anyhow, I too hunger for moar Hermoor Failtrolling. :P

As my brother is doing a post-graduate course in astronomy, I remember having a conversation with him about the Super Nova equations.  But they don't make complete sense to him.  So we concluded that Sephy's knowledge of astrophysics is flawed, hence why Super Nova fails to kill you ;D

Tatoo?  Why get a tatoo?  What's the point?  We're all slowly dying :'(
(Do I sound like an emo?  No?  'Kay, I need to try harder...)

the first two equations calculate the potential attractive forces of the sun, the third one the attractive forces of the earth, and the fourth one is flawed, and says that the asteroid is travelling along a 2d plane.

(I'm a geek and a half sometimes)

also, I don't really care for tattoos, unless they have a personal meaning.  Super Nova is one of the few things that would have a meaning to me, since FF VII is/was a large part of my life.  The other thing I'd get is my family crest.

In other news: NOW, I can sleep, after finding out my account on waffles.fm was disabled due to activity... even though I haven't been inactive, so I had to get a mod to help me (apparently their inactivity script went berserk)

I've been away at uni a whole six hours and this is all that's went on here? *sigh*. Maybe the world isn't going to implode after all. I R DISAPPOINT.

And I miss Jari's LOLcats. They always made me laugh when I was having a boring day.

I see the topic has degenerated into making fun of people again. At least this time it's just the regular members doing it.

I see the topic has degenerated into making fun of people again. At least this time it's not endorsed by an admin.

If there was a decent admin and mod here I think there would be more control too, but you are right.  What about you?  Certainly you are someone I think all of us can respect?

Wouldn't making a new account just cause more trouble in the end when she'd be discovered? @_@ It would also make people trust her less and make the whole Master-Aden story more plausible.

If she's been OKed to stay by the admins, hopefully she can continue participating in the background without calling too much attention to herself and avoid any more forum drama.

I don't hang around the forums enough to know what's going on and I've never been a big member of the community.

This entire situation is disgusting on both sides. Look at yourselves. I rarely come here anymore although I've kept up with all this drama by lurking, but I come here because this is the hub of Final Fantasy VII development with no peer. Why is everyone treating it like some virtual world and hampering progress by bashing people you've never met face to face?

Why the hell is this fight still going on with Hermoor when instead you all should be shaking hands, let the guy start a thread for his project, and if you don't like it here's a great idea: DON'T READ THE THREAD!

On the flipside, Hermoor what are you trying to prove by continuing to try to piss people here off? I get it. Your ego is hurt. Your "situation" was treated like sh*t by the mods and admins and you have reason to be a little upset but let it go. You're working on your project for the sake of FF7, not the forum. If you're not, you need to be. So you don't fit in with the crowd. Who cares? You don't seem to be a bad person when you're not letting yourself sink into flame wars like this.

For what it's worth, this crap is bringing out the worst in all of you.

Woah, swap Hermoor's name with Seifer and you may have a point! Personally, I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has said several times that I should be killed. He hasn't done any modding work since last summer; all of his threads are about how much he hates us all (pic related). Qhimm has hidden his subforum, but the lulzopedia provides adequate examples of what his posts are like. Those examples aren't anomalies or taken out of context; the majority of his posts are like that.

I'm sure that some people will say that everyone is just picking on him and we're all cyber-bullies, but only people who have never had to deal with him and only people who have never had to read 2000 word posts (full of lies) on how disgusting they are. BTW, he has both started and escalated the fighting at every point. All of the people who pick on Hermoor started to do so after weeks of insults lies and general abuse.

Also, it may be possible to ignore his threads (in theory), but it isn't possible to ignore him starting fights in threads that have nothing to do with him and it isn't possible to ignore the porn he spams the whole of the forums with every time he gets a new proxy.

Despite the treatment he gets, he comes here again and again, months after he decided that these forums should die. Since he insists on sticking around and causing as much trouble as he can, I think it's fair that we turn the tables on him and turn the troll in the trolled.

At any rate, we can't expect a community to stay clean without a 'helping hand', purely through the goodwill and mutual interests of its members, no matter who we're talking about. I expect Qhimm will make a post in a few days detailing his options and likely choices. I imagine that a moderator to be upgraded, and new mod staff to be recruited - although 'who' in each case is up in the air. Of course, it's also possible that Qhimm himself will take the reigns for a few weeks, assuming that he can apportion the free time (and that's a big assumption).

You'll have to forgive me as once again, I don't know who's 1000 aliases belong to who. I was thinking Hermoor = Seifer for some reason.

Lulzopedia? I'm not bringing up the cyber-bully argument but rather; why bother? Why bring it to prominence? Erase shit like that, ban as necessary, don't feed the troll. The situation seemed pretty avoidable to me on all sides, and both sides are still keeping it going by continuing to stoke the fire. Wanting a person to die is pretty uncalled for, but in the grand scheme of things I doubt he's over where ever he lives and stocking up on weapons to kill you. Making lulzopedias and declaring the forum can fend for itself after having irritated the situation worse isn't exactly any better.

I guess what I'm saying here is, somebody needs to delete ALL this crap and deal with this in a normal manner instead of making a parade out of one or two people. Poking someone with a stick clearly hasn't worked, how long has it been? Sometimes, just saying the right things can be more effective than having mod status.

I hope you'll forgive me for saying - I think you're being idealistic. I know that you're not proposing a short group hug and we'll be the BROTHERHOOD OF QHIMM, but I do think the 'Hermoor situation' isn't going to be resolved as easily as you're (perhaps) suggesting.

Hermoor=Damssil=Cloudssil=Cloudmoor

Seifer=everyone else.

Thing is, Hermoor isn't your average troll. You can't ban him because he'll come back with proxy after proxy. We spent several months with account creation in admin approval mode because he came back so many times. He feels very real hatred for the people here (and at other forums were he has caused trouble; we're not the only ones to ban him), and I suspect he doesn't go to school or work. He's incredibly determined and has infinite time on his hands.

There's no ignoring him either. If he isn't getting the attention he wants in Completely Unrelated, he spams the on-topic boards with as much porn as he can find; it's happened quite a few times.

We just have to accept the fact that Hermoor will never go away (until he grows up) and he will always make himself heard. The solution Jari implemented was actually a good one. He had his own subforum where he could troll to his heart's content. The people he was insulting were able to get some laughs out of him and everyone was able to get on with their work in the on-topic forums.
