7th heaven error - Error starting FF7

Hi everyone,

After seeing the results obtained by people playing modded versions, decided to give it a try. But, unfortunately, things didn't turn out ok for me.

Steps taken:

- Did clean install of FF7 Steam version
- Followed the steps listed on the tutorial (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=15520.0)
- Installed, configured and activated different mods (just to check if the issue was with one of the mods)
- Clicked "Launch Game"
- Got error message "Error starting FF7"  - https://imgur.com/a/4qoLtRf

Also I noticed that there is no app.log file into the game folder. I found the Game Converter log file, but not the 7th Heaven app.log file.

I was running v1.54. I just repeated all the process with v1.56 and the error persisted. But now I do have an app.log file. Its content is as below:

In the compatibility settings of ff7.exe, enable the tick box for "Run in 640x480"

And turn off "Check for updates" (not related to your problem, but it'll cause others)
