when I open the APP, it says it uses an internal resolution of 1920x1440.

How can I change that? I want to set it higher and see, how the result looks.

Really nice work, great to see more people working on FF8.

Any chance of seeing Shiva any time soon? Was always my favorite GF.

@sl1982 I also thought of that, but didn't mention it, because wouldn't that be something that is against forum rules?

ok, thx for enlightening me :)

@Vgr
at the moment, or will it never be possible?
because, if it will be possible, when someone cracked the ....(what ever was needed to work on FF7), why not start now and build up some skills?

I remember from a while back, that there were fanvideos with ingame footage. How did they get video footage?

Troubleshooting / [FF8]Where do I find Videos and stuff?
« on: 2011-08-14 10:44:31 »
Right now, I feel like trying to improve the visual quality of videos and floor-textures in FF8 (although I don't know anything about it), but I can't find them.
So I'm guessing, they have to be extracted. But in which files are they, and how does one extract them, so can be edited/used?

I hope this hasn't been asked before, I tried the seach function, but didn't give me the answers, or I overlooked it.

Thx in advance.

Regards

Less strain on your graphics card.

But does that really matter? I mean, since the game is so old, shouldn't 'modern' pcs easily handle the extra strain?

Somehow I can't download it. I just don't get a connection with the tracker. Is it down, or does the problem lay on my end?

EDIT: fixed by using utorrent.

maybe someone could look into this? I don't know what to do with this information but maybe someone else does.

EDIT: I also have the crash-dump-file, but I didn't know if it's allowed to post it (I uploaded it on fileserve).

The game allows you to customise controls from the config menu.

You on a Laptop? If so there is a custom config somewhere on the forum that sorts that little issue.

thx. totally forgot one can do that :)

PS yeah, I'm on a laptop at the moment :(

Solved Problems / SOLVED: How to use arrow keys?
« on: 2011-03-28 12:03:29 »
HI,
the search isn't working right now, so I don't know if it has been asked before.

Is it somehow possible to use the arrow keys instead of the numpad?

thx in advance
