I tried playing through the first one. It got pretty damn boring and I gave up.

I found Tales of Vesperia profoundly boring.  I liked Legendia better ...  Eternia is the best one in the series I've played with Abyss a close second.

Finished the first one a while ago. I loved the first one, but I doubt I'll even try the second one. I don't like what I've seen.

^ There was gameplay and cinematics months ago. I'd say late 2012. If not, early to mid 2013.
