Never thought I'd see the day with Leon and Chirs in the same game...

Though I actually think it looks like alot of fun and the trailer was amazing. But I would love to see a RE Game with the Old Feeling. Maybe this one will be a sort of good blend of Action/Horror though ? 2 was my favorite and 4 was fun, but 5 was just too much action, to me it was just a complete Mind F**k until i played it a 2nd time.

No clicking just beeping from the speakers, i'll look around for a SATA I should have one that i used like 2 years ago put it into a box, and i've reseated it and used my uncle's HDD to check if maybe the pins got busted or something just in case and it works fine. I'll try the SATA idea tomorrow night :3

Completely Unrelated / Harddrive Crash :'(
« on: 2012-02-06 17:43:10 »
The harddrive on my main computer which is my laptop, somehow got hit at some point causing the impact sensor to go off, at least that's what I think it is. When I turn it on, it beeps about 5 or 6 times, and when i go into the BIOS it doesn't recognize the harddrive at all. Just wondering if there's a way to get my data back or i should just buy a new harddrive and just get everything back.

Thoughts ?

General Discussion / Re: FFXIII?

FF1: Played and Finished countless times, DoS Version though. Didn't finish the NES though I'm beta testing FF:Rebalanced mod right now and it's pretty good challenge with alot of changes.
FF2: Played the DoS version, clocked 10 or 11 hours then i just stopped playing.
FF3: Started playing the DS version didn't get to far, finished the NES version on an Emulator though. Played it for 3 days straight loved it.
FF4: Played until about an hour or 2 before the last fight and stopped playing it.
FF5: Made it to the Fire Crystal and then I stopped playing, but one of my favorites.
FF6: Played until World of Destruction on Anthology, then my memory card was corrupted haven't touched it since.
FF7: Finished with all sidequests etc. On PS1/PC w/o Mods, and with mods.
FF8: Like FF3 I played it straight not playing anything else determined to finish it.
FF9: Made it to Disc 3 but then I started playing FF6 then memory card was corrupted.
FF10: Loved it, Great game another one of my favorites.
FF11: Never played it. Never saw an interest either.
FF12: Played it, liked it, but lost my copy so never touched it or bought another copy. Still have my save files though.
FF13: Played it and finished it, I liked it but I didn't consider it a true final fantasy game.

Dissidia: LOVED IT TO BITS clocked 60-70 hours.
Dissidia 012: Love it also but I haven't had the time to play it.
Crisis Core: Loved it 20 times more then Dissdia. 94 hours and 32 minutes. Missions all complete game beat twice.
Tactics: Never played it.

Completely Unrelated / Thoughts About: Dissidia 012
« on: 2011-06-14 16:53:26 »
I've already picked it up and played for a few hours but as far as I can tell to me, it's an expansion of the first game, but indeed a very good "expansion". Sorta like how Bioshock 2 was to Bioshock 1 (Example) Anyway I haven't played too much just finished Chapter 1 and then I fooled around in Arcade Mode for a bit but that's it.

Your Thoughts?

I myself am Wicca/Wiccan whatever you wanna call it.

Though the religions that believe in "God" don't deserve to be flamed on etc, it's just what they believe but there is one religion that should burn in the deepest pit of hell. Scientology NEVER understood that religion -.-

If there is any proof of a higher being or anything as such, like say one day say there's a God-On-Earth scenario, I'll HAPPILY start believing in God.

I made a topic about Parasite Eve 1/2 a year or something like that ago, and well I believe Parasite Eve 3 (The Third Birthday as it's called now) came up and since it just came out maybe a few days ago might as well talk about it.

I only got the storyline from the Site they had up,( http://www.the3rdbirthdaygame.com/ )and at first glance I hated it. I saw nothing to do with the past games, but then I read it over and saw it fairly Interesting . I myself haven't picked it up yet, but it looks pretty good gameplay wise to me.  Not exactly Parasite Eve-style, but it works for a PSP game and a sequel 10 years later, it's looks pretty good.

Um...isn't Versus XIII going to include a world map?

That is, if it's ever released...

So I've heard, and it's 'supposed' to be released either Summer of next year or just around Christmas. We'll probably see something about it at E3 soon enough >.> HOPEFULLY.

Anyway, but that's supposed to be an Action RPG like Kingdom Hearts, Dissidia, DoC, take your pick. I honestly miss running around on a world map going somewhere I shouldn't then getting ripped apart by something 30 levels higher then me. And the feeling of having a choice too, and of course.

Side Quests Don't see alot of them in RPGs anymore and even if you do it's not that long compared to older side quests like the FF 7/8/9 back when RPGs were actual RPGs. Now all the good old style RPGs are either Ports, or remastered Remakes from an NES/SNES to a handheld of some kind. I think if Square would actually care about how people liked they're RPGs, they'd either make a brand new one from scratch, or they'd remake an older one and put it on console. But needless to say, if it has Final Fantasy in the title 90% of us are gonna pick it up ...

EDIT: I'll give an example of what I think why certain FF games were bad to some people. FF13 for example. We all thought it was going to be a great improvment from FF12, but the thing is, if they were as they're own title, and not part of FF we'd probably see them as better games. FF13 did a good job at what kind of Exploration (Very Little at that but whatever), the leveling, the Battles and Story. But it's just that we all thought that POSSIBLY we'd get a more classic FF title or something. I don't know this just popped in my head before I went to sleep so I had to edit post before I forgot about it tomorrow XD

I never got a chance to play Shadow of the Colossus or ICO >_< I'm gonna try to pick them up somewhere sometime this weekend though.

But the remake trailer from what I saw of Gameplay videos for the PS2, it looks pretty much just upgraded Textures to me, which is though good enough.

If they do remake, here's hoping they add to it without the need for Matrix effects X 1000

Agreed, Twin Snakes had way too much of that >.>

@Covarr Yes that's for straightening that out for me.

Also, Meryl's ass in HD.

@Lost Wing, I agree. Though there are some things that just won't make sense like a Camo System in MGS1/2 to me doesn't make sense since 95% of the games are indoors and when they are outside it's only in a Grey, Orange, or White Background.  Though I'd rather them keep the Engine they already had in them, not MGS4s. Maybe a little bit from it like equipment and such but maybe not even that.

Like the 3rd Person Aiming thing they had in MGS4 I could do without, though if they add it in I wouldn't mind, but once again it wouldn't really make sense to me, I can't even imagine them in that kind of Format.

Though there is something I'd LOVE TO SEE.

Psycho Mantis read your HDD. Nuff said.

Completely Unrelated / Possible MGS Trilogy Remake?
« on: 2011-03-04 05:05:43 »
So me and a few friends were on skype and we found a rumor of an MGS Trilogy (1/2/3) HD Remake for PS3.

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/284819/news/metal-gear-solid-hd-trilogy-coming-to-ps3/ For the Article

Yeah there's a good chance it's false, but then there's that little slight glimmer of hope for us all. Honestly, I think that they would be too scared to remake them, in the slight chance that they mess something up and they lose a little chunk of the Fan Base. But as we saw with the God of War HD Remake, it wasn't changed all that much from the PS2 Version. If this is true, hopefully Kojima is Directing the remakes because I don't think any other Director would be able to direct those 3 titles without Kojima skinning them alive.

Opinions?

Start Menu -> Run -> and Type in Reg Edit -> When the Registry Window opens follow this path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Square Soft Inc. *

* I don't have FF7/8 Installed on this laptop yet since I'm still in the process of setting it up so I don't know the Square Soft Folder name for sure

Then there should be a key in there named FF7Movies then just Double Click that Key, and change the Value Data to the Same Path that you have the movies stored.
