Hello, I made a simple start screen in FF7 style (using textures from the AVALANCHE visual reconstruction mod, credit to the creators), download it here if you like it:

I think my post was the more meaningful of the two :3
And if I may add something mildly constructive to the thread, I quite like the minimalistic design; it's very tasteful. When it comes to things like backgrounds and wallpapers, less is very often more; a lot of people forget that. Proof of this can be seen by comparing the simple backgrounds and interfaces on the internet's more popular websites to the noisier ones on geocities-style sites.

I'm assuming those textures are from the AVALANCHE visual reconstruction mod you have installed and don't come with your start screen.
Otherwise you should give them, us, and me, credit for making them... and also have permission.
If all of this is taken care of already, please don't read this post.
Erstwise, it certainly does look simple.

Didn't mean to step on any toes, I took some screenshots in game to make this, and yes I had the AVALANCHE visual reconstruction mod at the time.
If anyone has a problem with it, let me know and I will take it down.

I tried the link again and it is ok, most likely Megaupload was having problems at the time you tried, perhaps try again.
