Title: [FF7PC] Tool compilation
Post by: Kaldarasha on 2017-01-08 21:19:45
I made a guide on Steam to have the most needed tools on map.

Btw. can someone fix and improve this for the new Blender version?

Very nice. Love the pretty images :)

Can I suggest another tool for LPG Inserter/Extractor/Repacker. It has a very user-friendly UI.

Nah, Luksy's GUI version is better. I tested Kranmar's tool currently and have now a dump of all my LGP files, because it feels like an installer in the first place. :|
Though I could add it but I fear that there are more that are even dumber than me and bombard me with curious questions why this isn't working or why all their files are corrupt or whatever springs them in their minds. Better we stay with only one packer.

I made a quick batch file for use with Luksys ulgp program.  Makes it easy to encode all the files - or add to them and so on.

we have all of the parts within the ff7tk and it would make it very easy to make a GUI for lgp, lzs and a few other formats. If anyone takes this up and needs help ask myst6re or I and one of us should be able to help. I just dont have time currently to work on it.

I would like to add it but can't find it.

That's another reason why I created this guide on Steam, though I haven't any high hopes to attract programmers.

I'll upload it when I perfect it.

And my files are corupted...

This has become my mantra with WallMarket. I have one more feature that needs tweaking and I'm washing my hands of it.

If I could reliably reproduce it (or even at all) I could solve it. :P
