Okay that is an easy fix.

Give 7th Heaven Modding Tutorial a quick ready again, some things have changed. http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=15520.0

Rename a Hard Drive to FF7DISC1.
OR
Rename a USB Flash Drive to FF7DISC1.
OR

Mount this blank ISO: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-Q_AObuWRSXTy1DNnRwQWgySzA

Download and run FF7_GameConverter_7H.exe (This includes the ff7_bc.exe and others)
http://www.mediafire.com/download/8p8wd0edcoehd60/FF7_GameConverter_7H.exe

7th Heaven 1.50 to ensure you're up to date http://www.mediafire.com/download/b11ag3vgm8baxjx/7thHeaven_1.50.zip

And ensure the subscription link is updated to iros://Url/http$pastebin.com/raw.php?i=dDBkYkDu

Pay attention to step 3

Once you have the latest stuff here, you should be good to with my previous post in editing the file path to lead to FF7_bc.exe.

And pay attention to the load order specified in step 5.

Let me know how you get on!

7th Heaven / Break 9999 crash

Can't confirm if this is a conflict with another mod... yet.

Enabling Break 9999 causes the game to crash.

Tested and reproduced with the initial battle.

No Gameplay mods enabled.
Menu overhaul being used: without beacause, removed hand indicator, and no battle boxes.
Jessie Mod not being used.
Sephiroth Story mod not being used.
Faster Enemy Deaths: 1
Always Run: 1
Clock Fix: 1
Increase Sense Limit: 1
Save/PHS Anywhere: 1
Skip Cutscenes: 1

Everything related to textures in use (not likely to be related anyway).

Content:

Under Workshop > Open GL Driver Configuration; the help text stating the "Should be" are the wrong way around... right?

Another:

Using space bar to raise priority of a mod makes the block appear out of sync and behind other blocks.

Reproduce:
Disable Miscellaneous - Dynamic Cloud Weapons
Enable it
Go to bottom and click on up arrow
Hit space bar to raise item to the top.

Closing and reopening 7H resolves bug.

Where's the correct place to post bugs?

Under Workshop > Open GL Driver Configuration; the help text stating the "Should be" are the wrong way around... right?

7th Heaven / [Solved] No Music
« on: 2016-01-08 01:29:50 »
Trying 7H for the first time; I've always been one to manage the mods manually my self, usually...

So, as the title states... No Music. Is FF7Music.exe supposed to load somewhere?

Where to begin trouble shooting? I have sound. Sound Effects change if I change them, but no music. (FMV music, obviously plays but nothing else.)

Advice?

[removed log for clean post]

Solved.

Suggestion to EQ2Alyza

Under your important notes you have

-------------------
Important Notes
➣ Music Plugin: VGMStream <-- Music will not work if this is not selected.
-------------------

At a glace, due to the double use of "not" appears like one should not use VGMStream.

This should be rephrased from a negative sentence to a positive one, something like the following to avoid confusion:

-------------------
Important Notes
➣ Music Plugin: VGMStream <-- VGMStream must be selected for Music to work.
-------------------

edit: spelling.

Yes this is "normal".

You have chosen that particular type field texture - Ozmys Field pack: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=12260.0 - unfortunately imageshack sucks, so you'll have to click on the now-disabled images and hit download to compare.

I promise you'll get used to it; I remember feeling very odd using the pack once upon a time.

To expand on this, you have two options if you hit Configure for "Field Textures - Part 1": Omzy and yarLson.

As described in 7H: "Omzy = fractalized detail, yarLson = preserved detail"

Decide which you prefer, if any.

You want to do the following to resolve this:
Open 7th Heaven> Workshop> Settings
Under FF7 exe, ensure that the FF7_bc.exe is used.

%ff7location%\FF7_bc.exe

Or... (not recommended)

Renaming the file ff7.exe to ff7.bak.exe and then renaming ff7_bc.exe  to ff7.exe will fix this.

In regards to this download, can anyone tell me what they get as the MD5 Hash?

I have

995e78d4d7063fc881442d5a5ea3b744 *Final_Fantasy_VII_Remix_v2-5-1_Installer.exe

Just want to say that now i'm downloading this months later and still have the same hash, I guess it's okay. Hopfully this will benefit anyone else.

The same is occuring to me when using the cutom driver.

Are you guys getting a slow down/drop in FPS per screen?

17
In regards to FF8 / FFVIII ,

Using the driver the following is observed...

The game's FPS' go down, to temp resolve, one has to open up the game menu and apon exiting the menu the game runs as it should: smooth. However, should you enter a new screen the problem reoccurs.
