And wow... The forums have changed a bunch, there are like a million new smilies~!~!~! Or ... just two... man you got me all worked up for nothing. *pouts*
any ways....


I like the model, however i have a small gripe about his arms, is it just not smoothed yet, cause there are ridges there that make them look somewhat "not real".
I am not trying to sound mean. I am just offering some constructive criticism.
Overall I like the model, just get a good texture on it. and we should be good to go. Thank you for your contribution. ^.^

when you are going up the pillar, i am assuming.. the just have their arms extended, and a gun shot sounds.
But, they are not holding any guns.

I think thats the one he is talking about.
.. but that isn't in the first mission is it?

I made the arms bigger again..
and made the shoulders

they are lame so yeah.. i have to boost my ego some how..

Not at all.
My chibi mod is still going.
I just discovered something while making the chibi mod that editing verteces are easy.
xD....

so... i decided to learn how to make my own models, instead of editing what was already there.

and more progress.



The shoulders were hard to make.. and they aren't quite right, me thinks.

And I plan to make as many topics as i have time and ideas for.
xD.

Quite frankly.
The make a human tool. I am not going to use that, for anything but pure fun..
i want to make all the models, that i plan on using one day (most likely in the distant.. very distant.. future) by hand.
It gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Knowing i made this piece of crap from scratch.

I took what you guys said into consideration.. and i am getting rid of the sphere shoulders..
and I merged the waist and chest.......

I also made the arms look more.... muscley..



i am redoing the feet... and i haven't done the shoulders yet.

Well. Hello Folks. How are you all doing?
.

As you all may know, timu sumisu, and neo cloud strife, and others.. are making custom models for the game Final Fantasy VII. And yes, I thought i would take a crack at it myself.
But instead of doing all the main characters like timu sumisu  is going to do. I thought i would to some of the not so main, but all still so important. (such as rufus... hojo... and all them turks ..  )

But, to start out, i thought i would do a dissidia style cloud. To test my skills.
Here is some shots of my work.
Mind you, this is my very first, utterly custom model.
So do not judge harshly.
.



Bare in mind,
There are merely W.I.P shots.
I have no idea how to texture... so ...
who knows what will ever become of these models.

This is all just for fun any ways.

Progress.
Thanks to borde, the model has been fixed.  

But, now i am having two issues..
one i can fix easily... cloud is too short... he is like at barrets chest.
xD. (yes, even with his hair spike ... O.O)

and the second issue is,
when the game starts the MP grunts are laying on their backs (and no, not after the avalanche members knock them on their *censored* butts)... and some models in the sums lay on their backs all sprawled out, unless they are walking.
But in some places, it doesn't happen.
O.o

Well anyways:

and you can also see what i mean, the person at the bottom left, she is laying (or he) on the ground.. when preferably, the person i question, ought to be on ones own two feet.

These models aren't good at all! The originals are so much better, these new models look so weird compared to everything else and when you run into non updated NPC's you stand out like a sore thumb! NO NO NO NO....

I may agree with you, mostly.
But, that doesn't give you the right to attack their work like that.
That is not constructive criticism. I may not like PRP, cause i am a die heart chibi fan.
But, this mod still has its credit. So don't go blindly attacking them, just cause you don't like it.

FF7 Tools / Kimera: FF7 p model simple editor

Well here is what i did.
I extracted the entire character lgp, and put it into a folder.
Selected the characters HRC files, and then saved the model into a separate folder, from the start many of them were missing their textures.

Well. Since i have no means to fix this. And Aali has told me, that its kimera.
I am going to call it quits for now, and pick this project up again, when I "can"
that means when kimera can properly save my model, or if some other way for me to do this arises.

Well for now, i am going to work on 3D and learn to make custom models.
 

So, Fare well, for now.
And if you find a way, to fix that model... do not hesitate to tell me.
cause, it has happened to any model that i have split up and altered the verteces to in kimera...
which is what i have to do... if i want the model to look the way i want it to.
