Just won "Believe Music" yesterday! I guess the fact that I'm merely invisible on  YT helps with that! :D

Claim was for the song:
"Coeur de pirate-Aurora's Theme", sound recording administered by: 8:20
Believe Music (Your dispute awaiting response by 7/31/14)

I used Ubisoft Video Policy notice to dispute that:
http://static2.cdn.ubi.com/videos/ubisoft_video_policy.pdf

I'm also not monetizing the video because I think they can re-claim the copyrights if I do. Not sure about that though... At least they won't get profit by me for just playing the game.

Getting Started

Patching the Japanese game:

1. Create an ISO
Assuming you already have a version of custom firmware on your device:
Here is an online guide to ripping a legitimate ISO: http://www.guidingtech.com/13895/extract-psp-umd-game-iso/
Here is another guide that uses merging and compression:
http://gbatemp.net/threads/guide-on-how-to-create-and-run-final-fantasy-type-0-in-one-iso.362170/

2. Download the 2.04GB patcher
MEGA single-file
Mediafire 11 parts
Uploaded 11 parts
Filefactory part 1 & part 2

3. Run the patcher
1. Open the Final Fantasy Type-0 Patcher.exe
2. Click on “Patch”
3. When asked, select the ripped ISO file. The ISO files can be a merged or unmerged for the patch to be applied. If using an unmerged ISO file, just apply the patch to the ISO file from Disc 1 only. Disc 2 isn’t necessary because the patcher contains files from both discs.
4. The patcher will then ask you to type a name and choose a directory to save the patched file. The resulting patched ISO file will be 2.65GB.

There is also a guide with screenshots available at gbatemp:

Configure your device

Configure your device to run the needed custom firmware (CFW)

PSP Instructionshttp://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5236
Custom Firmware (CFW) installation instructions and links here:http://wololo.net/cfw4dummies/

Configuration for all PSPs with CFW:
- Please ensure that you have the latest CFW installed. Currently, the latest version is 6.60 PRO-C2. (*Might want to use PRO B.10 or PRO-C(fix3)*)
- Configure the Inferno driver. The patched ISO will be 2.65GB and the PSP cannot play ISO files over 2GB without the driver.
1. Press [select] while in your PSP’s main menu (after installing CFW).
  2. Scroll down to UMD ISO mode.
  3. Cycle left or right until you see inferno.
  4. Press [select] again to exit
  5. Now try the game again.

- If you are using ME CFW games works with blacks FMW

PS Vita Instructions
1. Make sure you have 3.01 firmware, if you have a newer firmware, this won’t work.
2. Watch this video to setup yoru PS Vita: http://youtu.be/Ptvxf9Bv7Uc
3. Transfer the game through the exploited game save file or use FTP and place the game in the ISO folder. Just like PSP however, you'll need the Inferno driver for it to work. This is included in Total_Noob's TN-V8 eCFW so make sure you're up to date with that. Method of activation is the same as PSP.

If you have a Vita that's up to date with the latest official firmware, don't bother asking how to play the game on it right now. The opportunities to install eCFW are rare as Sony will quickly pull the game with the kernel exploit from the PSN store and release a new "stability" FW update soon after. If you really want it in the future, subscribe to the GAF Vita Homebrew thread or pay attention to wololo.net where the name of the game with a kernel exploit is occasionally released.

PPSSPP for PC & Android Instructions
- Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from  http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/. This is different than the lastest “stable build” that is featured on the front page. Currently, the latest version is v0.9.8-1088-ga31194a.

FAQs

Q. Where can I buy FF Type-0 online?
AmiAmi
AmiAmi (Ultimate Hits)
Amazon
Amazon (Ultimate Hits)
PlayAsia
PlayAsia (Ultimate Hits)
YesAsia
YesAsia (Ultimate Hits)

Q. What is different in the Ultimate Hits version?
A. The Ultimate Hits version has the exact same contents as the original version. The only difference is the discounted price.

Q. Can I patch a merged ISO?
A. Yes, the patch can be applied to merged and unmerged ISO files alike. If using unmerged ISO files, just apply the patch to the ISO file from Disc 1.

Q. When I tried to use the patcher, it couldn't save the ISO file. Am I doing something wrong?
A. It’s very likely.  You need to type in a name for your soon to be patched version and hit “Save.”

Q. Can I just buy the game off PSN and patch that instead?
A. We currently don’t have a way to do this. http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=11461

Q. Can this be played on Vita?
A. Yes.
1. Make sure you have 3.01 firmware, if you have a newer firmware, this won’t work.
2. Watch this video to setup your PS Vita: http://youtu.be/Ptvxf9Bv7Uc
3. Transfer the game through the exploited game save file or use FTP and place the game in the ISO folder. Just like the PSP however, you'll need the Inferno driver for it to work. If you really want it in the future, subscribe to the GAF Vita Homebrew thread or pay attention to wololo.net where the name of the game with a kernel exploit is occasionally released.

Q. Shouldn’t ____ be translated as ____?
A. Trust me. Almost every line of text in the game has been changed at least 3 times during the past 4 months.

Q. The radio “COMM” message timing is slow. First noted before fighting last boss in Togoreth Fortress.
A. Due to the game’s setting that renders the message speed in relation to the number of characters. You might have guessed that English vs Japanese has a significant difference. Sky tried to fix this but had no luck.

Q. How can I know if my ISO a healthy one?
CRC32 of original ISO should be like this, anything different is a bad dump.

Disc1:
UMD: 025D4D96
PSN 701B6B87

Disc2:
UMD: 7BFF2BCF
PSN: 4285E823

I used the UMD version to create the merged ISO
My merged ISO CRC: 50af1217
Merged ISO English patched: 229a311a

All cutscenes are watchable on both PPSSPP and PSP. If you are unable to watch them, the problem could be due to inferior PC graphics card, CFW problems, an interfering plugin on the PSP or other possible factors.

Please use this link to test CRC: http://code.kliu.org/hashcheck/

Q. Why does my game start out with 25 hours of gameplay when I’ve never played this game on my PSP before?  I never played the Japanese version. Save file is my own and not downloaded from the internet.
A. ???

Q. Can I play it on a PS3 without a cobra dongle?
A. http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=73932 (in progress, go there and assist please)

Q. If you don’t need Disc 2 (just need Disc 1 and this patch), then what about the content that is on disc 2? The game is on two discs so how does this work exactly?
A. The patcher adds missing videos from the other disc to make the output file a merged ISO. And, in the originals, Disc 1 is use for prologue, switched to disc 2 for a while, then switched back again to disc 1 again to complete the game. There are likely identical files for both.

Q. I would prefer to not merge the two disc game into one disc because my memory card only has 2GB.
A. There is no way to avoid the merging from the patch.

Q. Is the player data summary supposed to last for only half a second? Because I never have enough time to see what they say.
A. That screen was useful because when running the game from UMD without data install, load times could be very long. Now, since you're running the entire game from the memory stick or your hard drive through an emulator, the load times are fractions of a second. We translated those screens, but you're right, they're not really useful anymore.

Q. Can I____?
A.  yes.

Q. Can I____?
A.  yes.

Q. Can I____?

Troubleshooting

1. Can’t access in-game codex.
- During beta, there is known problem if savestates are used before
accessing it. Restarting from save point usually solves it.
        - Otherwise, under investigation.
    - Blank codex, 0/0 characters is fixed by restarting ISO from XMB

2. Lecture hall’s subtitles are weird.
- It’s intentional. The conversation audio versus the subtitle is totally
         different.

3. MSVCP120.dll error with PPSSPP.
- Get the dll from microsoft site: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
- If you are using PPSSPP for Windows 32bit, get vcredist_x86.exe.
- If you are using it for Windows 64bit, get vcredist_x64.exe.

4. The cutscenes are not working although there’s audio and I have the option to
    skip it.
- For PPSSPP, please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from  http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/. This is different than the lastest “stable build” that is featured on the front page. Currently, the latest version is v0.9.8-1088-ga31194a.

- For PSP-1000, please ensure that you have the latest CFW installed, 6.60 PRO-C2. Next, configure the Inferno driver on it. Lastly, disable any plugins or cheats that might be interfering with performance.

5. Certain lag/spike during gameplay for PPSSPP. Especially noted with the
    “unkillable” boss scene during tutorial.
- As far as i know, the PPSSPP team is working on it. Otherwise, the settings e.g.
upscaling, rendering etc can be tweaked.
- As for PSP, there are claims that the memory stick may be the cause

6. Game areas where you can see nothing but the HUD on PPSSPP.
-This is an issue with older PPSSPP versions.
- Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ This is different than the lastest “stable build” that is featured on the front page. Currently, the latest version is v0.9.8-1088-ga31194a.
-Next, ensure that your Rendering Mode is set to Buffered Rendering.

7. Crash during chapter 5 mission at the “sunken/abandoned” ship.
- This was encountered once during beta using earlier working PPSSPP build but
sorted out with the newer ones. PSP however, has no crash for this section.

8. Game time shift from x day 2 hours to x day 12 hours.
- It’s part of the game. Moglin explains it to you during the tutorial.
Pay attention during lectures!

9. The game sometimes becomes tinted-red during gameplay using
    PPSSPP.
- Known bug. Restarting the emulator works.

10. D-pad super sensitive. My buttons and d-pad are acting super sensitive with this game. When i press buttons or d-pad once, its like pressing 4 times. tried with other games but those are fine.
- I found the problem it was the joysens plugin that caused it. Turned it off in recovery menu and was working normal again. Turning off joysens when playing the game didn’t work.

11. I got notices that new info was added to the Crimson Codex, but what I got was blank, nothing was added.
-Be sure to scroll down.  New entries aren’t at the top in the beginning of the game.
-If there still aren’t any, restart ISO from XMB.

12. I downloaded the patcher, but when it’s done the zip file is always corrupted and I can’t repair it.
-Windows XP - patcher somehow doesn’t work with it at the moment. There’s
a way around it, but it’s complicated. You would have to do it manually… which requires Sky’s permission.
- Or use leecherman’s Final Fantasy Type-0 EN Patcher.
- Otherwise, it’s still under investigation.
- Try using 7zip, FreeARC or WinRAR 5.0 to verify first and extract later. Old versions of WinRAR could give you error when you verify or extract, while 7zip and FreeARC don’t.
- Find a friend that has Windows 7

13. Certain letters are slightly overlapped especially “A”.
- This has been tweaked many times by the team and we found the current condition to be the most acceptable.

14. Everytime I start the game, my PSP shuts down.
- You need to configure the Inferno driver on your PSP.
1. Press [select] while in your PSP’s main menu (after installing CFW).
2. Scroll down to UMD ISO mode.
3. Cycle left or right until you see inferno.
4. Press [select] again to exit
5. Now try the game again.

15. The patched ISO file cannot be converted into a CSO file. PSP ISO Compressor tosses out an error in the cmd line and UMDGen just creates a zero-size file.
-This is because those tools do not support ISO files that are over 2GB in size.
-Try using leecherman’s CISOMultiCompressor. It supports file sizes over 2GB.

16. Windows 8/8.1 prevents PPSSPP from starting.
- Encountered during beta testing. Try enabling Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for this program.
- Right click “My Computer” > Properties > Advance system setting > Advance tab >
Performance settings > DEP tab > Add PPSSPP to the list.

17. On PPSSPP there are a few instances where the FPS just drops to 1-3 fps and I was only able to barely slip past those moments. The arena has the same effect making it unplayable.
- Refer to problem #5 above. The Arena is notably wacky thanks to the fog effect it’s trying to render, but the earlier working build has its lag/spike effect for a few seconds. It also depends on your hardware.

18. When i try to download, it keeps freezing or the bar does not move.
-Mega works only with Chrome or Firefox (with mega plugin installed)
-Use F5 to refresh the page.

19. When playing on PSP if I use sleep mode while playing, the game sometimes crashes when it needs to load or present some sort of issue.
    -Disable GAME plugins.

20. Shadows in the game is rendered as stickman/white shadow for PPSSPP.
-This is an issue with older PPSSPP versions.
-Please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of PPSSPP from http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ This is different than the lastest “stable build” that is featured on the front page. Currently, the latest version is v0.9.8-1088-ga31194a.
-Next, ensure that your Rendering Mode is set to Buffered Rendering.

21. The save menu is in japanese letters.  Mostly the “overwrite saved data?” question and the “yes” or “no” answer.  I have tried using a clean ISO, a downloaded ISO, and a merged ISO without any luck. I use PRO B10 CFW.
- It’s more to do with the PSP’s system language rather than the patch. It isn’t clear how
this can be changed. (Untested Idea: Changing the region code of the ISO to something like ULES or ULUS might help? Those are the non-Asian regions)

22.For the Merged ISO, when you select “Return to Title” under the “Info” tab the game crashes. This is with the proper mentioned CFW and Inferno setting. (Note: This is while playing on a PSP-1000)
- We fear this has to do with memory issue. PSP-1000 has severely limited RAM.
- The Crimson Codex has been tough for our editors/proofreaders during the  translation/polishing phase. They have tried their best to enhance the texts while keeping the memory load to a minimum for the game itself to work properly.
 - In any case, still under investigation and need more info especially if it’s really restricted to the 1000 series.

23. A character was in a constant voice loop when casting wall first time playing through the tutorial. After turning it off, it hasn’t occurred again but I will keep checking back.
-Was using Remote Joy at the time so that may have caused it since I have had it yet to occur to me again while just playing on PSP alone

24. Why is it so much bigger than the normal ISO?
    - Two discs worth of video crammed into a single ISO.

25. I played the Demo up to the first save point to get the summer uniforms, now the character names during level ups and such are scrambled, any way to fix that?
- Using a demo save may caused problems when playing the patched game. This is because a few Japanese texts are stored within the save file so conflicts of identical data may occur.

26. I have unlocked the summer uniforms, how do I wear them?
- Equip them from the save point by cycling with L and R.
- Otherwise, you can use the “Unlock All Class Zero costumes” cheat.
- Please read the Final Fantasy Type-0 Uniforms Hack Guide for more info.

27. How to make cheats such as 2X EXP work, because it says error straight after using cheats, any way around this?
-Use cheats that the game isn’t checking for?

28. The cutscenes in the game skip every second or so. I'm running CFW 6.60 b10 pro on a psp 2000 slim and i've read around that people with the 3000 are also having this problem. it occurs when using sony driver and inferno. Also on CFW 6.60c2 pro. Any fixes available?
Update: the cutscene where the captain of class-0 is introduced doesnt skip.
-The problem is the MS (specially FAKE ones) and poor faked photofast and other memory stick adapter. Otherwise try enabling\disabling MS SpeedUP feature in PRO recovery menu.

29.Been playing on PPSSPP, dissidia and some square enix games work fine on my laptop but in Final Fantasy Type-0 there is a constant black screen that blinks during gameplay only when teleporting ace and when adjusting camera up, very annoying ,don’t mind the camera part but the teleporting ace thingy is very annoying is there problem with my laptop or PPSSPP ? what settings are good? I am using the latest PPSSPP0.9.8…..what can I do?
      - This is my setting during beta for ppsspp in my almost 3 years old laptop:
Buffered rendering, Shader: natural, rendering reso 4x, vsync, mipmap,
hardware trans, software skin, vertex cache, upscale 2x + Brz, ani filtering 16x,
          texture filtering auto.
      - Make sure to use the developer build instead of stable build.
          - Everyone uses different wares, so tweaking is needed.
    - Use legitimate PSP machine

30. How long should the patch take?

31. For those of us that are completely technologically incapable, would someone mind making a complete picture/video tutorial and add a link?

Black screen in place of cutscenes:
