playstation or pc? whoops, stupid question. well psxplay works fine on extracting the movies and stuff apparently, havent tried it myself though. i remember someone posting saying psxplay made the sound play at a different rate from the movie, i dunno. are the ff9 files locked up in an .img file like ff8? havent shoved the cd in me pc yet.

PSMPlay works fine for the FF9 movies. I had some problems playing from within the program but it worked fine when I extracted them to AVI's.

unfortunatly Segu has disappeared from the emu scene and that version of psmplay was out time ago.
he was quite ill during his last updates, lets hope nothing too bad happened to him.
he made a excellent PSemu plugin, that u couldnt really appreciate with PSemu PRO, but with EPSXE u can Xperience how good it is and how good it COULD have been. the screen ration is perfect the speed is great at FULL texture quality. shame it never got updated.

After trying a long time to extract the files in FF9 PSX, I came to the conclusion that it is imposible to view the files in it.

Psmplay worked just fine for me... but i heard there was an alternate ending containing an extra scene.. is that scene just a snippet on the disk? or is there 2 ending files.. or did i just get fed a line of crap... ? seems that ffhq posts alot of rumors...

the extra ending video is there, but you need the hammer to watch it if you're playing the game. i have no idea if they added it as an extra fmv in the ending video. but if its played half way through the video i expect they'd have a completely different sequence, otherwise theyd half to slip the fmv in during the ending. i dunno.
