78

But i can see that being usefull in an ordinary fight

Are you two doing completely different things? There must be some differences if you cant reproduce the same effect?

Final Fantasy VIII PC UK had the same cover as the FF8 PSX in the USA
I think it was the same for FF7 UK PC.

That would make more sense, why have to externally referrence kernel data when it would be simply to recreate all the attack info in the scene file - not good programming but remember FF7's programmers were VERY lazy.

Abit of topic - has any one listened to the Crisis core sound track - there are a few reworked FF7 tracks in there which would go well with FF7 music...

Looks good, I hope you can tab through all those options - so you dont need to use the mouse much!
That would be handy if you have to edit 200 scene files...

Murak - adding monsters to a fight is something you can do by hand.
I was able to add two monsters to a boss fight - but they must be available in the same scene as the boss.

I feel Chrono Cross is possibly Squares best attempt at a PSX game to date ( I think it is more advanced than FF9).
But Chrono Cross was almost their last game on the PSX where as XenoGears came out almost in line after FF7.
Akari is the master of Xenogears, I think he might know alot more.

Nice! We have a bug free Battle editor now.

By the way the beginners grid is a hell lot smaller than the advanced one in the PAL version.

Unfortunatly thats the new Square strategy since they hooked up with Enix.
Every FF from FF12 onwards is going to be like a mini series. Well FF11 had several releases as well...
Why couldn't they release FF12 on a next gen format? The PS2 is well out of date for that game..

What exactly does your program do?
Sounds interesting.

At about 57 seconds you will see first emerald followed by another weapon and then ruby weapon.
Case Closed!

Hmm lets see, you see diamond, ultima, and the sea weapon (who gets blasted by the junon cannon).
I think you might see the other two in a frame or two, but don't bet on it.

Akari, it was a closed project. It did except FF7 data.

Who was the last leader? Only thing I can remember was the original FF7 remake project by Ficedula.

Man I dont know why you would think I know about GS or AR on the PSx.

Only think I can think of is that it patches memory locations much like a trainer does for a pc game. You need to watch the memory to find the values you want to freeze or edit - ie keep an eye out for the hp counter for player 1 etc, but i dont know how you would do that for psx

possibly look around for images from the FF7 international bonus CD, lots of pictures of weapons etc on that.
