i'm sorry but the torrent link tells me 'FileServe can only be used to download and retrieve files that you have uploaded personally.#
any other options? ^^

also, can somebody reupload the hq aerith model? megaupload doesn't exist anymore and rapidshare doesn't work.
i'm asking because her textures are not showing up and i want to try the texture slot fix.

There is a link a couple posts up that takes you to the site hosting it.

These are the best battle models currently: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=13703.msg192139#msg192139

Field model is in the torrent. Bootleg 0040 will feature menu choices for almost every individual field and battle model. You'll be able to mix and match everything to your liking. It should be coming very soon  :)

I don't understand why it says that. There is no message of that sort of my screen  :-o

If you originaly hosted the the file on that site the message will not appear for you because it will pick up your ip adress and see that you are the original uploader.

Would it be helpful to anyone that I upload all mods to mediafire and google docs.

Not sure if I post this here but,

Just finished installing everything seems good, BUT, I get to the start screen and the white hand sits on "continue?" and not "new game" and my keyboard wont allow me to do anything!

Any ideas?

I just put a save file in the ff7 folder, seems the problem is that the keyboard stops working at the start screen? I can skip the intro clips though with it :S

Sorted! since Im on an imac with a wireless keyboard, there is no numpad. Used another keyboard and it worked.

Next problem, Game worked fine but fmvs were laggy and didn't sync with music. Cloud had no sword in battle and the health and mp bars were out of line. Then, I died and the game crashed and said an error occurred, now it wont work properly anymore and I have tried restarting the computer but it did nothing.

I may have had firefox open for some duration during the bootleg process, could this cause this?

And lastly, (sorry!) do I need to reinstall bootleg to try fix all this?

firefox doesnt interfere, no
this is most likely related to WHAT you installed so post your applog

Should I add a section in the Tutorial about posting the APP.log when seeking help?

If you are using 0.39 then certain setups have issues with battle weapons and cloud so i choose the preset pitbrat and left the models as they were but changed everything else. Using the 0.40RC3 and all those issues are fixed.

As for the messed up display, you are playing hardcore mode with the 9999+ box checked in the bootloader, you don't need to tick that as it is enabled when the mod is installed and everything will line back up

It is because filserve have changed the way they operate you can only download what you have uploaded, you can not download anything you have not uploaded, so you maybe able to download it unfortunatly others can not from that site. That is why mediafire google docs, rapidshare, 4shared are the best hosting sites now.

Hello everyone! Firstly I want to thank everyone here at Qhimm.com who has been working with these outstanding looking mods! I spent last night trying to get this Bootleg working with my 2012 Re-release version of the game, now i'd like to ask your help.

I've followed the whole tutorial and everything went smooth, but it looks like the problem is FF7 config.exe which always crashes at startup. I've tried everything, Run as administrator, compatibility modes etc... Firewall/antivirus are disabled and so on, tried to reinstall few times also. I'm using Win7.

I'm new to this modding stuff, so probably this is just me being dumb =)

Scitu, please post your APP.log, which can be found in the main installation folder. Wrap it with [ code ] [ /code ] to make it easier to read.

Are you using Windows 8?  There are still some issues when installing with Windows 8.

Also make sure that the file .\data\field\flevel.lgp is present.
Sometimes when running the new to old conversion multiple times deletes this file.

Not sure which of the two of us you're replying to, but this file exists for me. Running Windows 7.
