Help FFVIII

Well. I installed FFVIII and when I double-click the .exe to play the game don't start. I only get a black square in the left of the screen. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance

This belongs in Tech Support, not Programming feedback.

Also, do you really expect anyone to help when your post gives us no information at all?  Really, we just fixed your c_eye2.tex problem, you should know better.

I know, sorry. But the thing with the FFVIII problem is that when I want to start the game it doesn't load. I tried the FF8Configurator and the FF8Launcher but it don't start. Is it better now?

PD: Thanks for the help with the c_eye2.tex problem and sorry
