Title: FF7 PSX NTSC vs FF7 PC
Post by: The Skillster on 2008-05-29 23:01:40: I was playing FF7 USA on my psp/psx and noticed that some of the grammar and language was really bad at the beginning (sector 7,8, Aeris intro etc).
Anyone else notice that?

When I had a lot of time on my hands I actually went through all the dialog using Loveless and corrected all the grammar. It took about 3 days using 12 hours a day to go through all of it. I can't remember half the stuff I corrected though.

Wow, that's dedication... 12 hours a day? I miss summer vacation... You're as much of a grammar nazi as I am!

Post by: Tsetra on 2008-06-06 09:25:05: As I continue going through the dialog and listen to other people's lines/read their work, there's actually a considerable difference in the two scripts. The PSX version, while it contains more errors, also seems to have way more slang. Not sure if I'd say more natural, cause the PC version isn't quite unnatural, but there's a clear difference there.
