right now i am reformatting and renaming my 1k textures to lgp format to share on steam. After that is done (its really easy just alot of tedious work i keep putting off) I will be moving on to either FF7 spell texture, FF8 battle scenes in the same fashion I did these ff7 scenes, or start working in gimp/kimera to make my ff7 scenes be fully 3d isntead of just flat models with textures placed on top.

I vote the 3rd option.

Are you using FF7_mo.exe ? Because when i tried to use that exe with NT activated the stats changed from materia were huge. Using ff7_bc.exe fixes this for me.

Well you also have to keep in mind not everyone uses 7H, alot of users just use the main installer to try out NT. Still, it's always good to double check.

Uninstalled literally everything (including the game) and started from scratch. I can definitely say it's something Reunion (or Anxious Heart I suppose) is causing! I went through the scene with no mods (just the update and Aali's driver, the latter being installed indicates it's not the driver) and it proceeded properly. Once I installed Reunion, however, the glitch happened again (reloaded from the same save file). I don't know how to go about getting you a video, sorry. It seems like it glitches when Bugenhagen is supposed to say his next thing after the boogstar FMV. And I always install Reunion after Anxious Heart as you suggest (Reunion after other mods) if the order matters.

EDIT: And yes, adding that it always happens (with Reunion). I've tried different party members but I've attempted to go through the scene several times with Reunion, same issue. I think the only thing I haven't done is changed equipment and/or removed/changed materia.

PS - I didn't report it at the time cause it didn't break the game, was minor, and I thought it might be a memory fail on my part, but in hindsight it might somehow be related: I can't recall if the phrase "now" is supposed to come up during the junon march mini-game to signal when you should shoulder your rifle... if it is supposed to and I'm not just misremembering, though, it didn't. If that's supposed to come up, maybe it's somehow related to dialogue box cues? I'm no coder/programmer, so I just figured I'd throw that out there.

If you download a program called OBS it'll let you capture/record/stream gameplay footage.

The issue isn't MO or 7thHeaven, it's most likely user error. Either try running the Game Converter again as admin., or try any of the following steps listed in the FAQ-- http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=16538.0

Currently, you only have 2 options, 1. Find another solution yourself or 2. Wait for the official release. The current most stable version is 1.54, when v1.56 finally get's launched you'll know about it.

Edit: v1.55 works, but requires that you create a save file in all 10 slots.

Yeah, load order can vary depending on what mods you're using. For instance, I have custom IRO's packed for 7H, and if I load NT 1.5 at the very bottom it always runs perfect.

The best solution would be is to switch your .exe to ff7_bc.exe, then with MO activated, just make sure Beacause re-translation is left unchecked and you should be able to use SC's NT 1.5 while maintaining the HD MO.

Edit - Also, if you want to use the current version of Reunion, you'll have to apply the Reunion mod 1st by running it's own installer, then proceed to mod it with 7thHeaven.

Does your settings window look like this? Does your Subscriptions window have the correct link?



If yes, then go to the catalog tab and click the search button to refresh the catalog page where all available mods are to download.

The issue that I've been having is that even with NT on the bottom, it is overwriting some of the files in my original folder (like char.lgp and world.lgp) and causing crashes or assets in the original folder to not to load correctly. I've been talking to Sega Chief and we have most of the kinks sorted out, I just don't want to be so useless and keep bothering him. If there's a way to unpack the IRO folder, I am sure I can isolate the exact conflicting files and sort it out myself.

Since this is the Report/ Mod Requests board, I've gone ahead and sent you a friend request on Discord, if you add me I can get you sorted out on what steps you need to take to get straightened out. That way we don't flood this thread with unneeded comments.

Would you mind teaching me how to do it? I know it can import IRO files but I didn’t know it could convert them in for example LGP files. I am having some issues with NT and I don’t want to keep bothering Sega Chief.

Also, when can we expect the new updates to come out? The NT available in the 1.54 version of 7th Heaven is the 1.4 and NT 1.5 is a big improvement!

So the current NT IRO build Sega Chief has posted on the OP is the latest build. Honestly, all you need to do is just grab it and manually import it into 7th Heaven and it'll run fine.
I've found loading NT at the very bottom of the load order causes no conflicting issues with other mods.

Maybe try running the game converter again? If you've already mounted the ISO and it's not working, you could maybe try using the USB stick option?

Alright, nevermind. Fixed the issue, seems it was a settings issue in my nvidia control panel, all is well...nothing to see here!  :roll:
I just find it odd that it's been the same settings I've been using since I've been playing NT, I guess maybe when nvidia had their latest drivers update it must have tweaked something?
In any case, we're good.

Hey SC, another bug seems to have cropped up with the Sept. 3rd build of the IRO. Whenever you initiate an encounter now the battle swirl animation will hang/stutter.
The battles still load the correct scene, it's just the swirls no longer seem to be working.

It seems that the NT mod and the world map model characters mod dont work well. What i mean is that if NT mod is active world model characters dont change( this doesnt apply to world textures) I´ve only tested with Cloud´s WMC model so for the others im not so sure.
Now i dont know if this is a  bug thing or i am doing something wrong. in any case its not a big problem but i just thought to leave it here anyway :)

This sounds like a simple fix, it's most likely a load order issue if you're using 7thHeaven that is. I've found with all my gameplay testing with NT is to load NT at the very bottom of the load order, almost always works perfectly.

Unrelated to my last post, just forgot to mention it when I came across it on arrange. Should be noted that this was done on the 1.5 release a few days ago before any rounds of patching.

 The Reno fight on the pillar in Midgar. This was an odd fight for me, I poisoned him early with one of the items you can have at that point (cant remember which one), so he was taking a hefty chunk every turn. I wasn't sure how to get rid of the pyramids as physical attacks did nothing, and the character it was on seemed to reflect any spells cast on them. Tifa was hit with it very early, and stayed that way for the whole fight. Barret got hit maybe half way or so, and cloud got it a few turns before the fight was over. The fight became an auto fight, i just sat waiting, never getting a turn while Reno took poison damage every turn and whatever he tried to hit anybody on my team with, either did nothing in the case of physical attacks, or hit himself in the case of magic attacks. Not sure if that is all intended, but the fight was more or less free for me as he couldn't hit me at all for about a quarter of the fight. 


The pyramids can be removed using offensive magic for that fight. I did the same thing trying to use physical attacks to get rid of them...so I did a what if scenario? Sure enough, it worked!  :-D
