Follow one of the methods gjoerulv linked above and then after, You use the ps3 to copy the file to the vita. this is sonys offical tutorial on how to move stuff from ps3 <-> vita

To get your save back on to a vita the only way i know of is to get your save on to a ps3 then export it from  the ps3 to the vita. Idk that anyone has tried to reverse the vita save formats.(i've not looked in some time either)

It means that your video card driver doesn't support OpenGL 2.0. This is very common if you have used windows update to install your video card drivers. Be sure to go to the manufactures web page and get the newest drivers from there.

Nope only space for 9 characters in the save map.

if the steam version is like the steam version of ff7 you can simply edit the achevements.dat file to give achevements.

a new challenge has arisen... its been ported onto Android now I see. if we were able to retrieve and edit those files that would be the bees knees
if you read the thread about the android versrion around here. You will see the android version uses pc save files.
Threre are ways to get any file off android phones. Editing with Black Chocobo is already possible.

its most likely that you installed windows 7 in EFI mode and need to reinstall in "Legacy" bios mode.

Little did I knew that the uninstaller the program uses, apparently removes *everything* within the folder

Uninstall time is a great time to read the text of the uninstaller. The uninstaller says it will uninstall the directory where you installed it . So you seen a box that said im going to uninstall(i.e delete) F:\youCoolFF7Stuff and you told it go for it..You can maybe recover you data with a simple undelete program unless you have written over it.

looks like you have a stuck key either on a controller axis if your using one or prehaps your numpad 2 or numpad 8 .

Its possible that if you changed your progression vaules you mised one or set something incorrectly . The game is very sensitive to unexpected data when loading. Sometimes if you save on a field where you shouldn't loading backup will not work out well. Name changes for characters and item changes should not cause the game to hang if that is all you did please wait longer for the game to load (if your saved on the world it sometimes seams to take longer to load ) and if that is still not working please upload a copy of your save and I will test it to see if i can find anything. I have seen one case on the psx copy where the save freezes the game but doesn't do it on other releases of the game.This could be a similar thing for the pc version.

If i knew the correct key / seed pair you would not need to enter it.. No One know the correct combo. if you discover it let us know

The best way to do so is to use external text or xml files which can be edited and shared by users.

makou reactor does have a config file to store your varible names. its called vars.cfg. there is nothing stoping a group of users from naming all the vars in this file and sharing it. or even getting it put back into makou for distrubution with later releases. As for a folder with different versions of the file you can make one and name them stuff like vars_stock.cfg vars_mod1.cfg.. etc and when your ready to edit just move one of them to the makou folder re name it vars.cfg and do what you need to.

It is not. It was made by many of the developers who have worked on Final Fantasy games. Square(soft/enix) at that time made many different RPGs. Final Fantasy being just one of the series.

it shouldn't break the game but depending on what they have changed in the mod things may not be what they show in black chocobo.  back your save up and try it .

you can disable the menus from the save file.. and if you put materia on a character (even in slots that are not visible) it will still have its normal effects.

what you can do is remove the materia tutorial and this should never unlock the materia menu.
