7th Heaven / 7th Heaven doesn't work with LiBRE
« on: 2020-08-08 18:40:30 »
So, there's an old app called LiBRE which edits the FF7.exe file and allows you edit the Limit Break data for each character.  Unfortunately, I think 7th Heaven changes the FF7.exe back to its original state when launching, thus removing all changes previously made.

Is there a workaround for this?  I love 7th Heaven, but I also love customizing my limit breaks!  :(

So, apparently, Tonberry and Ho-chu can only be fought in the battle arena.  The scenes they can be found in don't allow random battles to develop.

Anybody got any suggestions for a workaround to this?  Namely, I want to fight Tonberry in the Northern Crater (first trip) and Ho-chu in the Ancient Forest, but am not certain what the best way to do this is.  I suppose I could overwrite an enemy ID, formation, and battle script in a different scene that is encountered in battles, but I was wondering if there was a better way or an easier way to accomplish this?

7th Heaven / Can't get movies to play
« on: 2019-11-24 11:05:53 »
I installed 7th heaven, and after getting it up and running, the movies played.  But I had an issue, and had to overwrite with game converter.  Now the game converter won't find the movies path file.  I can't figure out why.  Am I suppose to copy the movies off the disc and put them into the folder that GC created?  Just not sure, and I don't won't to ruin anything.  The game works mostly fine now, save for the movies.

This is where Game Converter created the movies folder.  C:\FF7\data\movies

Was wondering if anyone knew of a way to change Cloud's starting level from 6 to 1?  I understand that his level curve begins at 6 and the first 5 levels are chopped out.  Has anyone been able to figure out a workaround to this?  I'm just curious to see if I can play the beginning of FF7 and have Cloud start at Level 1 and level up normally from there.

So, I'm was using Bosola's wonderful limit break editor program for FF7!  I copied all the files to a new computer using Windows 10, and now I'm getting this bug report listed below:
