Hunting for "Story" people

The remake is in dire need of more "Story Designers".
Anyone interested is encouraged to contact me or Seph3D.

Honestly speaking, you English doesn't have to be "perfect", as long as most people can understand what you're trying to say, it's fine.
Mainly, we need people to help out with designing and developing the story. (The story is way too huge to work on with a small number of staff)

You'll also need to write a short document on your perception of FFVII. When I say "perception", I mean something that wasn't included in the original story. It can be something suggested or something you completely thought up yourself (Has to make sense though).

Oh, and before I forget, you'll also have to ensure that you have "sufficient" free time for the project. It would be pointless to go through all your work and authorize you to only find that you don't have time to do anything at all :)

Well...I am getting some replies by mail.
Although I must say that I can't expect much unless I make a post like this in some fanfic forum or something :)

Like I said, it's all about the story, so they wont be needing FFVIIPC. In fact they don't even need a copy of FFVII if they know the game well enough. I know of people that rent the game but know the game inside out.

...however, if someone doesn't have a copy of FF7PC they won't be able to run the Remake, which limits the amount of development they can do. They can still write the story, and go on to make dialogue scripts, so it doesn't *matter* as such - but while we don't need you to have FF7PC, it's a help.

Ok guys, I'd take off some Beta testing time, and I think I could do it. What would you need? A sample of my writing?

Could people just contribute small suggestions and not write a whole essay?

I wanted to continue/add to Final Fantasy 7's story since the day I completed it for the first time... like 5 years ago. I've got some excellent ideas, and if you don't mind, I'd like to help.

I doubt I can be much help as a programmer.... yet. In a few years maybe  :D
Where do people send their suggestions? Is there a forum or do we email? Wait. Am I gonna sound an idiot by asking is there a forum? I mean, is there a forum dedicated to small suggestions?

Yes, I got your PM SI... I just haven't had too much time to go over it. School's a bitch, and NWN is just too damn addictive...

Well, I know the whole story of FF7, and I have posted my ideas about some FF7 events and characters, especially Vincent Valentine.  I would like to help, but I'm still not sure about my schedule (actually, I'm lazy).  But I may just get off my butt, and do something good for a change.  I'll contact you sometime.

guys
the term story righter may as well be redefined to script writer,
in terms of shelling out a story,
then turning it into a character script
ie:
cloud: blah blah blah
shinra: etc etc etc
u know
means u have to be commited, and follow it thru all the way.
you know what i mean?

Mmm, I'm good in script writing.

Qhimm:  I'm afraid we have to ban you vvalentine.

Vvalentine:  WHAT?!?!? *with a surprised and sad look* But, but, why?!?!

Qhimm:  *turning his back to vv*  You haven't been posting here lately, and I know you are posting in other forums as well.

Vvalentine:  *with a confused look*  Is that a reason to ban me?

Qhimm:  Yeah.

Vvalentine:  *with a grin of fear in his face* I don't see that as a reason to be banned.  That's just ridiculous!!!! *frowns his eyebrows*

Qhimm:  Well, I said so, kthxbye. *clicks on ban button*

Vvalentine: NOOOOOOOOOOOoooooohh. *vvalentine now sits in front of his computer, watching the screen and reading the ban message over and over*

Nah, Qhimm is not evil (or is he? O_o).  That's just an example of some script writing that I can do.  Of course, I can do much much better.  This just barely took me a minute to do it, and it all came as I typed it.
