I have a question.

Well, I have been thinking of making a Website on the internet and the first step is getting a host.

I know this board has quite A LOT of people who are EXPERTS in web-making. So, I am asking your opinion on the BEST, FREE Host that can host my web-site.

Well, I would be most grateful if you guys could slip a tip or two

hmm....I have always been wondering on how to create a Flash (Macromedia) Menu Bar while leaving the rest of the site on HTML. Does anyone know how to do that?

Well, Im no expert at these things, but i know that we have a perfect webhosting here, its free, no banners needed, unlimited space, php, sql, wap and something more.

Mirex: Damnit. I think I'll try it anyway. I've been looking for a host for my FF MP3 and downloads for a while. I cant see the word MP3 in their terms and conditions, only Warez. I'll just zip 'em up!

I wouldnt advise you to use UBB 6, Infopop put a little thing in which tells the company when and where illegal UBB's are being put up. So they email you and make you take it down. I've had one up for ages and nothings happened but they did it to Jedimark. As for Flash, making a page with the flash in it is simple. You just insert the flash script into the HTML of the page.

I think I know what you want to know about Flash, SW:

In Flash, make your menu, and assign URLs to the buttons. When you set the URLs, you can define a window. (Just like the command.)

That's assuming you do it in frames. That way, the menu will load the HTML pages into that frame, while leaving the menu alone for animation or other nice things you do with it.

Well, it's a german, or better an austrian web host, but:

1. It's free (yes I know...)
2. No Ads! (No banners, no popups or such crap...)

But: You've got only 20 MB webspace.
