I need help please

I just got this game and I installed it. I try to load it but it didn't load. I installed the Geforce patch and it still wouldn't load can someone help me please? Thanks In Advance.

Could we have more information?

We need specifics on exactly what happens when you try and load the game.  We also need to know your operating system and video card, and the rest of your system specs would be useful.

Finally I got it to load but now it keep saying wrong disk. I tried every disk and it doesn't work. I have a Geforce 3 video card.

I assume you're referring to FF8, since there is no GeForce patch for FF7 (FF7 has a TNT-patch, FF8 a GeForce patch).

If you're game isn't running, there could be a variety of reasons. This is what you should do.

1. Click on Start and then on Run.
2. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter. It will bring up the DirectX Diagnostic window.
3. There is a button marked "Save All Information..." Click on it.
4. Save the file on your desktop.
5. Close the DirectX Diagnostic Window.
6. Open up the file you saved on your desktop by double clicking on it.
7. Copy in information in the text file and post it up on the board.

That should be enough for us to start off with.
