Troubleshooting / FF VII crashes when I get to Nibleheim
« on: 2020-04-20 22:53:52 »
Hi there. I'm having a problem when I get to Nibelheim, not in the flashback, but after passing through Cosmo Canyon. I saved the game right before entering Nibelheim, and at the moment I get inside, the game crashed, with no visual messages of any kind, it just said that the program encoutered an error and must close, and the Close Program button. I'm using The Reunion mod with Remako Textures.
First of all, I've been traying to fix the error for over two hours. I googled inside the Qhimm forums, I googled the internet itself, I red the FAQ at the The Reunion first page, I red the help files, I tried disabling The Reunion mod to see if the error was The Reunion mod, but the game doesn't recognize the savegames; I tried emptying the field textures folder, I tried saving the game on Cosmo Area and then going into Nibleheim, and a few other things I cannot remember right now, because I did such a lot of attempts to make the game work, but none of them worked. The only thing I found out was that getting to Nibelheim in the flashback is quite problematic and had quite a few crashes and different bugs, so I assume that Nibelheim itself is kind of a problematic place. The most I could achieve was to enter Nibelheim, and instead of crashing, it shows a black screen with the music of the place, but no image. I waited four about thirty seconds, but nothing happens, so I need to press Alt+F4 to close the game.
I'll post here the options.ini and the other files requested to post a bug:

Options.ini:

Hi there. I successfully installed the Reunion R06d, thanks to DLPB. Also, thanks to DLPB who indicated Kuraudo's guide to install more mods, I could mod almost the entire game to my liking. The remaining thing that I'd like to mod are the character models from 7th Heaven, both the field, battle and world models. I decompressed the three respective .iro files, but they don't seem to be textures only, so I assume they have some code inside, besides the textures. I tried putting this decompressed files into the remako->Textures->chars and also into the remako->Direct->chars, but the models don't appear. I'm not sure how to put the models, if inside the folder with the name of the character, or to simply put all the files of all characters together. So, is there any way to use this models with The Reunion?

7th Heaven / A bit of a wierd question
« on: 2018-06-30 21:47:01 »
Hi there. I got working 7th Heaven. IT ROCKS!!! Just one thing that I'd need. I'd need, if possible, that the whole text of the battle boxes appear on screen, without the battle boxes. It's a little unconfortable not to know, for example, the maximun HP and maximun MP. Is there any way? With that, the game would be perfect!! I tinkered with options in the The Reunion Beacause and Menu Overhaul "No battle boxes" and "No command boxes", but none of them displays the whole text of the menu. And, if I disable the "Menu overhaul" option, and check "No battle boxes", the battle menu and all menus show wrong. Is there any way?

Without the menu overhaul and with no battle boxes checked, this is how the menu battle shows:

And this is how the normal menu shows:

Hi there. I'm currently in the process of installing 7th Heaven on my Steam version of the game. The only real problem is, well... my internet connection. I'm using a 6 Mb internet connection (the fastest of my city is 10 Mb, but it's insanely expensive), and although every download is pretty small, the large ones like the world textures, videos, music and sound, and spell textures takes a very long time to download. Is there any way to make a backup of this downloads, so when I reinstall 7th Heaven I don't need to download this files? That would make a lot easier if I have to reinstall everything again (I'm in the second attempt to install 7th Heaven, but from the looks of it, it'll take me a few tries to install it properly), because if it's possible, that leaves only the smaller downlads to make, because when I  reinstall FF VII, I do it from a backup I created with the Steam tool.

7th Heaven / Quick question
« on: 2018-06-29 01:46:30 »
Hi there. I'm currently installing 7th Heaven in my computer. But, while googling it, I found this mod of Final Fantasy VII:

Link removed; mod contains copyrighted content. ~Covarr

I realize my question would be practically impossible, but, just by any chance, is there a way to use this characters mod inside 7th Heaven? It would be amazing. The mod itself is incredible just in the pictures, I just like to tinker with mods. Would there be any way?
