Hi satsuki, is there just an update patch from 1.04?

2
@satsuki, any chance you could add Wizard Staff: Modern Spell Names to SYW?

3
Hi satsuki, from what I'm reading on the OP the installer now works with PC 1998 (non-Steam), is that correct?

4
Beacause it's using specfic grahical lib witch are not used by commercial games, and as AMD don't case about fixing those functions .... if you read on the discords channel you'll see that it's even depending on AMD/ATI driver version ^^'
As the same functions/libs are used and working great with intel and nvidia .... it's 100% amd/ati related ^^
You're talking about BGFX right? Shouldn't this problem be solved there?
I looked at https://github.com/bkaradzic/bgfx/issues and couldn't find any issue specific to AMD drivers.

And I wasn't talking about just commercial games. I have used dozens of open-source engines for different games and never encountered this specific issue that seems to be exclusive to FFNx.

5
it's not FFNx related, it AMD driver related ^^, but yes it won't be fixed anytime soon T_T
I don't think so. Many other games, with different renderers (OpenGL, Vulkan, DX9, DX10, DX11), all work without that issue. Only with FFNx I see a blinking black screen.

I updated the driver to the recommended version recently, and I agree, didn't know these problems with AMD drivers and kind of regret didn't get a Geforce card instead. Thanks for the help with the save editor. Hope you can solve the bug with the driver so everyone can enjoy your marvelous work. Thank you.
This issue is related to FFNx, not Satsuki's mod.

I don't think they'll fix it any time soon.

Thanks for the IRO myst6re.
I won't be able to test it now because I manually installed Satsuki mods into my FF7 directory and I'm launching it manually, so both are working now and I don't want to mess with this setup.

As I suggested in Github, I think the solution should be 7th Heaven (optionally) not overwriting FFNx.toml every time.

I'm gonna try something similar. Found this tool.

Check it out.
Thank you for this. It worked perfectly with SYW iros and the installation was simply moving the files to the mods/textures directory.

9
Are there any instructions for manual installation or at least a command line just to extract the assets from the pack?

10
My full pack is based on 98 version, steam is just needed for validation of the intallation, and it's using psf for base music oob ^^
But when I try to install on a plain 98 installation folder, it says it can't detect the Steam version and does not let me install.

11
Hi satsuki, would it be possible to add support to the 98 version?

I'm having some issues with 7th Heaven and myst6re's psf soundtrack, so I would like to use your mod directly.

12
Hi satsuki, will the IROs also be updated to 5.26?

13
did you have the .ogg for me to download... ?
You can convert it to ogg, or any other format you want, with foobar2000. Just install the PSF component: https://foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_psf

14
Is there any difference between this pack and the old pack from Neill Corlett?
Just saw that you added a couple of files to his pack.

15
could you try this exe instead ?
http://ff7syw.free.fr/SYWv4installer.exe
Yep, this version also works for me. Thanks for the fix!
BTW I'm using Windows 7 x64

Edit:
Small typo:

16
I'm getting the same error as Chrestomanci with the latest version (no AV installed, W7 x64).

@Orichalcon: There are some changes to the program that are not related to the dds files. If you want to download the new version of the program, you HAVE to download the whole pack again.

17
@satsuki: would it be possible to pack the program separately from the dds files when there are no changes to the dds?
That way we can avoid downloading 2+ GB every time there's a new version.

Hey Blagnarok, satsuki updated the installer and now we are able to create individual IROs for each pack and they can all be loaded simultaneously in 7H.
This will allow you to set the correct category for each pack and correct load order.

19
-Iros pack have an unique Id and name depending the options you choose, this is avoiding overwriting when creating iro with differents options and you can do individual pack for 7h without import error
Thanks a lot for the quick update satsuki!

20
Hi satsuki, your pack builder doesn't allow us to create individual IROs for Field, Battle, Magic, etc, because if I create a pack for Field and another one for Battle, 7th heaven complains that the second pack is already imported. If we create a single IRO for multiple packs, we can't set the correct category for proper load order.
Would it be possible for the installer to create separate IROs for the packs we select that can be simultaneously loaded in 7th heaven?

21
Thanks for the tutorial Blagnarok, the game looks great!

One question: The SYW mods are now created using a program by Satsuki_Yatoshi and become a single IRO with "Miscellaneous" category, thus becoming the first mod loaded.
So far I have't seen any problems with this, but do you recommend changing its category and/or load order?

BC Updates
PSV Signing and Exporting now works without the need for user supplied keysI didn't crack the format i was pointed to code that this and was able to use it to get it working in ff7tk. VMP maybe soon ;)

PSV EXPORT NOTES
The files names are really important when you export so be sure you are saving with Valid Region Info
You can not export a psv currently with out having first opened a file region info is important with these as its inside the header. This has an easy fix at least.
Please see this https://github.com/sithlord48/ff7tk/issues/51 for correct names to use when saving PSV files

Where do i get it?
Use the continuous release.
Wow! I never thought I would see the day of signed PSP saves!
Thank you very much for your continuous work on this editor sithlord48!

Hi sithlord48, just wanted to say thanks for the continuous work on Black Chocobo.

It's been a while since I last played FF7 or used BC, so I'm glad to see there's been progress on the PSV/VMP front. I really hope to be able to edit my PSP saves effortlessly.
