And, it's runnin' off a WDM driver, designed for Win98SE!

I'd post a screenshot proving it, but I don't know how exactly you'd go about posting it.

Anyway, I think I'm off to play FF8, and give these drivers a good run-thru!

Well, guess what?

As I said before, the upshot of the WDM drivers I found is that I have hardware DLS.  However, the catch (downshot? :) ) of these same drivers is that I have no support for either my card's Dsound Hardware Buffer, nor the EAX or A3D abilities.

Also, I get a blue-screen crash when using the Orchestral DLS with my hardware.  The box says I have support for DLS level-1.  Is the orchestral DLS actually a DLS Level-2 file?
