@Buster Swd No problem, I'm glad that worked out! Looking forward to grabbing the rest of these files when I get home today. Awesome work!

@buster swd Also your high-us model looks great! Do you know if it will fit on Bloodshot's new bike model? If not, or if you don't end up releasing that.. I may go have to fiddle with that model myself. Keep up the great work!

@buster swd Not sure if it was already addressed, since I didn't notice it in the thread, but the weird texture on the boot seems to be happening because you are using one piece and one file for the entire foot part of the boot.

If you reference the APZ battle model, or Grimmy's field/battle model, both versions are using two pieces for the foot instead of one, and so one extra file as well. If you add this extra file/piece, (which I don't recall the name of as I'm at work atm), and apply the texture to both pieces it will fix the garbled look the texture has now.

This is how I was able to fix that issue anyway. Hope that helps.

Is there anyway in Kimera to just take the entire model and give it a unified resize value? Or do you have to always resize and reposition each and every piece, which makes it much more prone to crashing I've been finding out?

I likewise wouldn't mind use the apz buster sword texture in place of every cloud sword in the game, and it would probably be as easy as copying the apz buster sword file and renaming it to individually replace all the other sword files. There might be a bit more work than that, make sure they are all pulling the right textures, but I think it would give the intended effect.

Does anyone know all the file names for the different swords? I assume they are in the battleLGP? That would be a tremendous help to anyone who just wants to do this kind of mod for themselves.

First I want to thank APZ again for his awesome battle model, and squall8cloud7 for the conversion to field, which I found is really tedious task requiring quite a bit of trial and error. Good times.

That said, I noticed the legs seemed a lot longer too, say, compared to Grimmy's cloud field model (which I think has the best realistic field body shape and proportions I've seen thus far, so huge respect on that), and there's something strange where, on certain screens in the field, there is a bounce effect with the model, where standing still it appears at a certain height, and when you start moving, it lowers down. The long legs were especially noticeable in the cut scene where Cloud jumps on Barret's back during the pillar collapse.

I tried messing with resizing the legs and moving the upper pieces of the model down, but I couldn't get it looking right, at least to something I was happy with, so in the meantime I'm personally using the APZ head from this field model on the body of Grimmy's field model. I think it ends up being a pretty nice looking combination, and you already have a high rez buster sword on the back too. Just an idea for those who know how to do the conversion.

Alternatively, I'd love to use THIS entire field model if the leg issue can be sorted out, but I believe just because of the nature of the model and it's proportions, it would take a lot of tweaking, and at the point the release might not live up to the original APZ model anymore.

I've only been following the progress of this new cloud model for about two weeks since I decided to see what the ff7 modding scene was like and discovered the coveted original APZ model was gone for good, so I'm really glad to see that it made it's way back online with the updated face texture. The model does not disappoint either. That being said, I know very well the power of z brush being in the industry myself, so I can't wait to see the new and improved canon Cloud. Keep up the amazing work!
