Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but is the 7.11b version still supported? I can't get a working link for that version and I think it might work better for me with Darkbyte's speed hack as the 8.1b version has been giving me strange technical issues with the speed hack.

Edit: I'm a moron, apparently blind, and my google fu is good enough to kick myself in the face. I apologize, I swear I combed over this thread 3 times before  finding it, what else can I say.

Well I was able to get this sort a working after I updated to the 8.1 patch of the gl driver ( the speed hack zip came with the 7.8 version I think) but now I'm running into strange performance issues like the game running at blistering speed from the hack as is supposed to, but then as Cloud transitions from one screen to the next the frame rate drops to like 2 to 4 fps till the scene changes and it still happens when I disabled the speed hack. I have no ideas about that one.

Sorry I'm sure this is a simple fix but I can't get it working for the life of me.

I have windows 7 64 bit, but the game  installed into program files x86, the 1.02 patch and Aali's custom driver with darkbytes speed-hack as well. The game and speed hack boot up fine but only in 800 by 600 with black bars even though some fiddling has let me minimize the 800 by 600 window to see the speed hack in the background.

What's confusing me most is when changing the .cfg file to not have the black bars or not run at full screen, it doesn't seem to keep my original desktop resolution  (1366x768), get rid of the black bars, or exit full screen, but it can change the game size to 640 x 480.

Also compatibility mode and right click, properties, run at 640x480 gets me nowhere either.

Any help is much appreciated.
