So maybe, just maybe, more threads will be created where they are supposed to be.Perhaps staff should recruit some additional lower-ranking mods to cleanup rogue threads. I'm sure some people would be up for that. It would mean you wouldn't have to sting the majority of the userbase with warnings and it'd avoid threads like this being created.

There's no way you'll be able to do this, even with a massive team of people helping it'd be completely crazy if you ever succeeded.
Best idea is to port the PS1 version, emulating the PlayStation will be easier than re-writing the entire game.

I've given X and XII a chance, but I've had to give up on them. When I heard about XIII-2 I almost wept, I wish they'd stop with all the obvious cash-ins and actually produce some decent games for once.
As heartbreaking as it is, the FF series is dead to me and has been for a long time now. Ah well, at least we all have the Squaresoft games to cherish forever <3
