General Discussion / Final Fantasy XII
« on: 2003-11-14 17:48:10 »
The two main characters are Van and Ashie, the story is about an adventure on the airship. The game begins in a battle in the jungle, where Van is riding on a dragon. Up to 3 persons can participate in battles. It seems like there are Chocobo Knights in the game as well. Full details will be revealed at the Final Fantasy XII Conference on November 19.

Well i've got a final fantasy 7 battle model into lightwave (i'm kinda new to lightwave) using bitrun, to get bones i choose, convert skelegon to bones, this does give me bones, but they are kinda wierd, i can rotate them fine and its ok, the problem is when i try to move say a leg bone, the whole leg just comes off the model (i want it so the skeleton at least stays together). how can i get the bones to a state where i can at least animate the character a little?

any help or tips would be appreciated, thx.

General Discussion / ff7 3d model request
« on: 2003-06-11 22:57:36 »
since i have holidays comming up, i was hoping i could make some ff7 fan art using ff7 (battle) models (mainly the good guys and some of the cool badies and weapons).
i have tried extracting the models with some of the tools available, but they come out as untextured meshes, and it is time consuming to add textures and bones, to animate them.
i was wondering if any one knows an easy way to do this and get models with textures, preferably bones added to them too.

does any one know a method i could use to do this, or can i download them from somewhere?

thx :D
