Graphics issue in full screen, resolution off.

Hello, i am new to the FF7 mod scene, but i am anxious to play FF7 on a modern PC.

I ma having an issue getting FF7 working on my PC.  At first I was trying to use FF7 Remix 2.5.1, but that made it impossible to troubleshoot, so now I have a clean install and only OpenGL 0.7.10 plus the 1.02 patch.

The issue I am having is that when running the game with full screen turned on in the "ff7_opengl-0.7.10b config file", the right and bottom of the screen are cropped out of view, as if i was zoomed in on the upper left corner of the screen.  About %20 of the image is lost along those borders.  This is most noticeable on opening logo screens and title screens with words when letters are visibly cut off.  The game window is still centered on the screen with black borders and such, and appears to be the correct size for the settings i have gave (640x480 looks smaller then 800x600 or 1024x768 and so on).
In windowed mode with the size set to 800x600 it works fine (other sizes work too, but this size fits best).  I would prefer full screen for performance and less distraction.

I have tried version .9 and .11 as well.  Both had the same issues.  Version 9 also had video lag on the new game opening movie and logo screens.  10 and 11 fixed this.

My computer is an Asus EEE Slate.  Basically a laptop.  System info from my display drivers =
