[FF7] Scene Edit v1.3.0
« on: 2007-10-19 23:09:57 »
Well, I though that everyone's got the latest version, but it seems that it's not the case. For those who hasn't (and has version with potion bug) here's an update:

Link: Scene Edit v1.3.0

It's considered to be bug-free now, and includes an AI Script viewer/dumper. There are also controls for saving the script, but they do nothing at this time.

As always, comments are welcome.

Hey, nice! I have a suggestion. Download this and add it to the release.

http://www.speedyshare.com/579990677.html

It's just a .txt file that shows what scenes the different enemies are in. It may help since you have to load every scene. I know you have an enemy list. This list shows the enemy by appearance in (almost) chronological order, and what scenes they are in. It's just something I jotted down while I edited the scene.bin for the 1st time. It helped me a great deal.

Well anyways feel free to add it or not. I don't demand any credits for this at all!

Thanks gjoerulv!

I've added Your list to enemy list file, I think it'll help many people a lot.

All information that isn't in the wiki is welcome :). I will not update this program further, because it was written in Delphi, *but* maybe if I still have some interest in this I will write a new one with additional functionality. Then, Your information could be useful.

Murak - adding monsters to a fight is something you can do by hand.
I was able to add two monsters to a boss fight - but they must be available in the same scene as the boss.

rats. i was wanting to make a 3 on 3 fight, 3 heros of your choice and the 3 weapons, diamond, emerald and ruby. it seems that fight will never happen, LOL. (ultimate is too weak for that showdown)

Lol, that would be a nice fight. You'd have to copy them all to one file by hand, and *maybe* it will work.

You can't. Ruby and Emerald already has more than one parts. Although you can unite Ultimate and Ruby =)

You'd have to erase their AI script connection with Ruby's body as well I guess.

Btw. Offtopic ;)

Some minor bug I noticed is that the Script editor's argument description field stacks Attack IDs when you load a new file. But that doesn't really matter on the editing. The true attack ID is always the one in the back. You have to close and reopen the prog to remove the stacked IDs.
