The game like I say works fine. All mods works normally and I have no problem, up to now. Using the clean registry patch fixed any problem I was having. During though the patching with the FF7 GameConverter, I am getting an error right after I specify the movies folder, be it I use "" or not. The error is "The system can not find the file specified".

Spoiler: show

I am guessing it is not the movies, since if I play without the modded movies, the movies work fine. If anything, the music does not work if I do not use the mods and it even shows those red letters, saying it can't find the music.

If anything everything work perfectly, so I am not sure if that error affects anything. In the log I do not even see that message.

It happens only when specific options from mods are turned on. The first one is one that existed since before, which is the Gameplay - Tweaks and Cheats option; Skip Cutscenes. That is a minor one.

Another is the Animations Option; 60 FPS Battles. That is a minor one too.

The last one which crashes for me is The Reunion - Beacause and Menu Overhaul. It does not matter if I choose only Menu Overhaul or both of them, the game starts with a crash. Just ot make sure I deactivated all mods except Beacause  and Menu Overhaul and tried them with their respective exe files mo and bc. Just to be 100% sure, I tried both by renaming the mo and bc ff7 exes to just ff7 and by choosing the correct ff7 exe in the workshop settings. I tried them without changing any other option in The Reunion.

The game converter I used was downloaded on 16-01-16 (yesterday).

7th Heaven / A question about The Reunion.
« on: 2016-01-16 12:32:35 »
Hello there and sorry if the answer is way too obvious. I am about to start a new game and it will include  Beacause now. My question comes from the difficulty mod. Obviously since I am using some of the Reunion parts, I am guessing that I should choose; [One of the difficulty offered] + The Reunion. But I want to make sure that this is what i should choose, because from another point of view it feels I am choosing the difficulty I want + all The Reunion changes that it offers a not just compatibility with it. Sorry if it is explained somewhere and I did not see it.

Hello to everyone and I hope everyone is well. I have been wanting to play FF7 and after a failed PSN attempt to play the game I thought of trying Bootleg again. With the bootleg frontend I tried twice to install the game but the presents I used made the main characters look all cool looking or mixed on the second time and the rest of the characters in the world were plain and simple. I did enjoy the character quality but after fighting some people in game it felt so weird that everything else looked so plain and my characters felt like aliens.

I am about to use the default present and only change the Player character models to be all of them PRP in the field and choose the battle ones to at least match in quality.

Can anyone suggest what would be the best options to choose? In the base models I would choose the PRP but it says chibi so I am guessing it will make all field characters small.

There are so many options to choose from but at least I do not want the game to look inconsistent.

-Edit-
I posted this without looking at any new threads first. My mistake, I am sorry. Seems like there is an easy way of modding FFVII now called 7th Heaven. I am sorry again for the redundant post.
