Completely Unrelated / Harddrive Crash :'(

The harddrive on my main computer which is my laptop, somehow got hit at some point causing the impact sensor to go off, at least that's what I think it is. When I turn it on, it beeps about 5 or 6 times, and when i go into the BIOS it doesn't recognize the harddrive at all. Just wondering if there's a way to get my data back or i should just buy a new harddrive and just get everything back.

Thoughts ?

I've already picked it up and played for a few hours but as far as I can tell to me, it's an expansion of the first game, but indeed a very good "expansion". Sorta like how Bioshock 2 was to Bioshock 1 (Example) Anyway I haven't played too much just finished Chapter 1 and then I fooled around in Arcade Mode for a bit but that's it.

Your Thoughts?

I made a topic about Parasite Eve 1/2 a year or something like that ago, and well I believe Parasite Eve 3 (The Third Birthday as it's called now) came up and since it just came out maybe a few days ago might as well talk about it.

I only got the storyline from the Site they had up,( http://www.the3rdbirthdaygame.com/ )and at first glance I hated it. I saw nothing to do with the past games, but then I read it over and saw it fairly Interesting . I myself haven't picked it up yet, but it looks pretty good gameplay wise to me.  Not exactly Parasite Eve-style, but it works for a PSP game and a sequel 10 years later, it's looks pretty good.

Thoughts/Opinions?

Completely Unrelated / Possible MGS Trilogy Remake?

So me and a few friends were on skype and we found a rumor of an MGS Trilogy (1/2/3) HD Remake for PS3.

Yeah there's a good chance it's false, but then there's that little slight glimmer of hope for us all. Honestly, I think that they would be too scared to remake them, in the slight chance that they mess something up and they lose a little chunk of the Fan Base. But as we saw with the God of War HD Remake, it wasn't changed all that much from the PS2 Version. If this is true, hopefully Kojima is Directing the remakes because I don't think any other Director would be able to direct those 3 titles without Kojima skinning them alive.

I was sitting on my couch like 10 minutes ago watching TV when I realized...

What would some Exclusive Handheld games (Games that weren't just ports of they're console counter-part), like Crisis Core, MGS Peace Walker etc,

Rather see them on Console, or Handheld?

Personally I'd rather see Peace Walker and other MGS Handheld games (Except AC!D) on Console, but for a Handheld MGS, It's pretty freakin amazing.

I'm pretty pumped for Naughty Bear, Metal Gear Solid Rising Trailer, and Fallout New Vegas. Heard they were supposed to put out a FF14 Trailer but I never really had an interest in the Online FF Games.

I know its not out in N.A. yet but I might as well make this topic before someone else does 

For people who already got it, share what its like. So far from what I heard is that its a Dungeon Crawler -_- Still a Final Fantasy game, and a Must-Have.

After I manage to see some gameplay vids and actually get it and clear up space on my PS3, I'll post my thoughts. Until then, Good Luck !

I'm back after countless hours of FFIX, MGO, MGS4, PE2 and taking random buses. I've been thinking about taking some time to make some stuff for FF7 but that'll come later!

But, what I've been wondering for a while now...
If you were a side-character in the FF series, who would you be? Side-Character meaning none of the Major Characters like, Cloud, Squall, anybody playable.
And yes...you can pick Biggs and Wedge... Fanboys... jk

Sorry I've been off qhimm for a while, Testing some stuff out for some friends, Life, Just didn't have any interest for FF7, and most likely not for a couple months...its good, but not that good.

ANYWAY to the topic: What would you think if they remade a game like FF1, on the limited memory of an NES Cartridge, what would you think of it, and most importantly, how would you think it would look? For those of you who don't know, NES is 8-bit

I hear they made a 3rd game for (CELL PHONES!?) in Japan and planning on making a real canon game for the PS3 if the internet tells me the truth...

By Square, my favorite series is of course Final Fantasy, but for a "Side-Seris" this is the best of all of them. Of course the best story was in the first one, but I was a master of the 2nd game, beaten it like a million times because I have no life.  Anyway, let me know your thoughts, can't really type in a whole thing here cause I'm at school right now...waiting...for the bell...

I was wondering if Braver had its own animation? Cause I've been thinking of changing it to what he does in Dissidia where he stabs the ground instead of just do a downward slash.

Completely Unrelated / Thoughts About -Final Fantasy- DISSIDIA!

This has to be one of the best Final Fantasy's today. I give it 30 out of 5 it is THAT Good.

Dissida Pretty much gets all the "heros and Villians" from the first 10 FF Games (1 through 10) to go through the war between Cosmos God of (Light ?) And chaos God of Discord. And no not Vincents last limit break CHAOS. (Though that would be cool). My favorite aspect about Dissida has to be the on line battling, the Battle Gen system, and LENGTH. This game is 1000 times longer then Crisis Core, and brings back almost EVERYTHING from those 10 games.  For Ex-Mode "Limit Breaks" they'll have different things you have to do to make it stronger. Like Cloud and Sephiroth you'd rapidly press Circle to charge the Limit Gauge, Firion you'd use buttom commands, and Squall you'd press R at the right time to use the Trigger. All I can say is Square did a very good job on this game, they should be proud. Just don't make a sequel or it will suck, only remakes please.  

Please share you comment and such. And if anyone lives close enough I'll battle them.

Releases / [FF7PC] Harder Difficulty Items (2009-08-20)(Missing Download)

This mod simply makes your items (not limited to potions and stuff like that) but only Armor, Accessory, and Weapons. I have made Kernel.bin files for the following difficulties. To install simply BACK UP YOUR KERNAL.BIN !!!!! If you don't want to back it up, okay your problem. This has been made to be used with any difficulty mods you wish. The last difficulty Level combined with HardCore mod will be the day you shoot your Comp and destroy FF7 for good cause I don't want to imagine the hell that its gonna be. Now have fun and HAPPY DOWNLOADING!!!! Also warn me of crashes by PMing me or posting in this Thread.

Oh My god Why am I doing this! -

In the final Difficulty EVERYTHING'S effects have been HALVED from there stats from Normal Difficulty. I also made one of Yuffies wepons godly, just for you....
 
Edit: Gotten rid if Easy...and will probably scarp it all since I've noticed a problem with it. Would somebody please test it and see? Stats on the buster sword should br 9 or 6....Thank you. I have gotten rid of the final Difficulty Link since I need to fix it up.

I thought it sucked....ALOT! Untill I found the "Prevent Death" accessories, since everything in the missons I was doing had Death attacks 

I thought the Materia Fuison thing was quite impressive. The new leveling system was horrible untill you went to GameFaq and found out there was an invisible EXP counter XD But Materia Fusion made you way to godly. "Wall +999% HP" And the new materia like Dark Firaga, or Hell Firaga. And my fave....THE GENJI ITEMS!!!! Get any of those and your offically a god. My only problem with it was; TO SHORT! The missions take up ALOT of times, but the story itself was short. I guess Zack didn't have anything else to share with us...

Tell us all your thoughts about this game cause man, It got me pretty angry. and I have learned something new about this game, if you drop your PSP about a 3 or 4 inches, it resets!

Archive / Crisis Core Buster Sword request

Is there a mod that changed the normal Buster Sword model to the one from CC? If not can somebody please make one?

Edit: And if you want *if you don't want to then don't* make the sword of AC?
