You *can* do this with LGP Tools (from my website, shameless plug!). The long but easy way is:

-Extract all of the files to a folder
-Edit/replace some of them, keeping the filenames the same
-Use the "Create" function to make a new LGP with that folder as the source.

Easy, but time-consuming and eats up diskspace.

The hard way is to use the Advanced Editor in the LGP Tools. That lets you add new data into the LGP and then "link" an existing filename in the archive to that data.

That does give me an idea ... I might add an "update" function into a future version of the LGP Editor. I suppose it's not very easy to change the files inside the archive at the moment. (Unless you're using Cosmo, which does it for you).

Give it a go and tell me if you run into any problems.
