I have been playing through FF games modded for difficulty and having an awesome time with them.
The FF6 Brave New World mod is probaly my favorite thing ever, the translated FFXII Zodiac edition with level 1 mode was excellent and FFVII with the Beaucause re-translation and gjoerulv's hardcore mod has been a blast so far!

I am eyeing FF8 for my next victim and it looks like there are 2 really popular difficulty mods: Colly's Hardcore mod and Landonray's Requiem

Can anyone recommend one over the other and if so, why?
