They are done. QC - Field Models 3.0 is a bad compile because it was rushed for the release of 7H 2.0. It'll be fixed in the QC - Field Models 3.1 update.

FYI. There are multiple Field Model options for every character, so it's best to post your Settings>Profiles>Profile Details (eye icon) so it can be seen which options you have configured. Everyone's setups will be different.

Are you playing with 7th Heaven 2.0 and Qhimm Catalog - Field Models 3.0?

It's good to see cooperation moving forward. We do tend to focus on the NOW (tm) more than anything, but try not to let that distract us from the end goals in mind. Finishing is the easy part. Figuring out how to get there is always the difficulty part.

We'll try and get transparent dialog boxes put in.

Definitive Edition is also a good option for the first playthrough.

In my opinion, both mods are for second playthroughs. I'd experience the vanilla game first, then decide if you want modded gameplay (NT) or story dialogue (Beacause) for your second time.

Or you could always play three times

It’s not Spanish, it’s French because that’s satsuki’s first language. It’s already reported and fixed for the 3.1 update :)

Yes. In the Catalog Tab inside 7th Heaven.

Qhimm Catalog - Gameplay > Tweaks > Always Run

Team Avalanche / Re: Project Edge (Jusete's field scenes)

That is a problem. As a developer u should provide a platform or a possibility to ensure, the modder themselves could easily add their stuff. Have u written an manual for the modders to create their own IRO/Mods packets? It is not your thing to collect all the mods/changes from different threads/sites and then adding them to an existing or not existing IRO File. That is the thing of the modders (normally). U provide just the program! U are Windows or Linux. U don't make pictures, movies, personal data etc!The user does!

The most modders provide their creations as lgp files or as direct files. I like the IRO Files for the structure. U can easily see, which files are for what. Each thing (model) has his own folder. So, if i want to change the Cloud model, i look into the folder with the name "cloud..." and copy these files.

For comparison:
If I download the packets from for example ninostyle i can't say, which file does what. I see only hundreds of files and doesn't know what is for what. A great issue if u are looking for a single character model. That is of course a great deal for the modder, but not for the user.

Maybe you all find a solution for this :)

Yes, I understand and agree. It’s why I made my last statement about creating a single database for the modders to have access for uploading.

I’ve been around for nearly 10 years now. I started with PitBrat and Bootleg Configurator, which gave users the option to freely choose their mod setup before installing. Then Iros came along and created 7H, serving the same purpose as Bootleg but faster and without modifying our game files. The idea of centralizing mods to one database has always been here, but it’s been maintained by only a handful of Qhimm members. I’m the only one that has stuck around, and I’m exhausted trying to maintain.

The idea of having a freely accessible database for modders to upload/update is in the works. It will be happening hopefully this year :)

Yeah, the Resize and NT deactivate is normal. I wrote that in to do automatically because they both share the flevel file that cause an immediate launch crash in my testing.

I think NT has a char folder, which is where field models are stored. There could be compatibility issues there. Overall, the QC - Field Models 3.0 is a rushed release that needs more work. That’s my fault, and I’ll always apologize for the headaches it’s causing (myself included).

It's mixing character model folders from different mods, which will obviously cause weird things at some points. Warning messages don't happen automatically by 7H. The modders have to write them into their mods for 7H to read and call upon. Before that can be written in, they have to be played and reported. Given the unlimited amount of variation users can download and configure their modding needs, it's impossible to test all of this before release. Sorry about that...it's just the way it is.

Team Avalanche / Re: Project Edge (Jusete's field scenes)
« on: 2020-04-29 13:40:25 »
Using 7th Heaven Mod Manager 2.0 and looks like the Team Avalanche field textures from Miscellaneous aren't completely up to date for me either. Jusete's nmkin_1, elevtr, as well as nmking_2 from this thread don't seem to be loading for me, and I have it at the very top of the load order. Most everything else that's in this thread seems to be intact and present. Anyway that it's possible my iro isn't updating?

Apart from that, holy damn Jusete, your work in absolutely incredible, as is everything else I have seen from Team Avalanche. You all have done such an incredible job. Modding FFVII for the first time ever right now, and it has been so magical getting to see this game I love so much with a fresh coat of paint. Keep up the great work!

It's not going to have the most recent updates at all times (but most of the time it will). Sorry about that :|

Jusete doesn't have release versions/dates, so I can't accurately put information in the release notes section of 7H when a new field is added. The best I could do is list them, adding the new field to the list each time, but I don't think the average user is going to know how to come to this thread and check for anything newer.

And I will be honest...I've been working on Qhimm Catalog for many years, and it's taken its toll on me. I am exhausted trying to keep up with ongoing projects (there are many) and keeping them all constantly updated. It's not a simple matter of downloading, dropping them in, uploading and calling it a day. It takes a lot more work/time for just a single mod, let alone dozens of ongoings.

I really want the Qhimm Catalog and Mods of the Round to merge into a single database that the mod authors can access and update on their own. That way I could spend more time on testing proper load orders and writing compilation guides for people to safely load and play.

Love it! ;D

Because it’s an ongoing project, so I don’t want to keep updating the Catalog every time a single new model is added. Just use the a Nexus version until its full release, then it’ll be added to the Catalog.

Sorry for the late response. I’m living in Fukuoka (福岡) and busy with the state of emergency changes :|

Yes, change world_us and menu_us. CD is not a problem, so ignore it. You can use FF7_GameConverter_7H.exe. Please try it again after changing world_us and menu_us.

Follow this guide for using the 7th Heaven tool to mod your game: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=15520.0

It’s very easy to setup, but it only supports English for some mods. I don’t recommend using any mods that involve language unless you want to play in English. You want to mod textures, so that’s fine. Textures don’t change the language. Try to download “Qhimm Community - Field Textures” and play with them.

Please come back if you have any problems  :)

Hi!

This mod is great and I've been using it. Thanks a lot!

I have a quick question. Is there a difference between the Enhanced Stock UI-rel2 and the User Interface Quimm Catalog packages in regard to this mod?

thank you!

ESUI-rel2 will probably be most updated. QC - User Interface 3.1 update will be the same.

Your title states world model, but Remako HD is a texture mod. I'm confused what is trying to be solved here.

It was in the Catalog briefly, but it's still being worked on. I don't know when genesis will have a completed version: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=14632.0

Not atm. Possibly down the road, but there's no telling when.

7th Heaven / Re: Field Models + NT1.5
« on: 2020-04-21 05:59:50 »
Are you using NT from the Qhimm Catalog - Gameplay or the standalone IRO from the NT thread? I think SC put compatibility messages in his standalone to prevent any possible issues other field model mods might have.

In 7H, you can go to Settings and turn off the mod compatibility lock. You'll be able to select field models from other mods, but I can't comment on how stable it'll be. Good luck :)

Thanks EQ2. Do you know if there is an explanation somewhere on what exactly each item does under the Difficulty section where New Threat is found? For instance New Threat is 6 I think out of 10.

They're just numbers for ordering. When the Profile Details are posted, the numbers help associate and read it better. Nothing for you to worry about.

Correct. If I remember correctly, Reasonable Difficulty doesn't alter the flevel.
