Same here. I was just trying to get people to not just believe facts given out in films outright... whether what they say is true or not i dont care, im just trying to encourage people to check out the validity of things they get told through films such as this before everyone start running around claiming one thing or another creating further division between the religious & non-religious.
Also I'm not sure what you meant in regards to buddism, and taoism. Would you care to elaborate? I am familiar with both religions after studying Tai Chi for a while and spending time with a number of Japanese friends.
The claim made by the film was that all religions really just worship the sun like pagans & are somehow part of a big plot to get us all to comply, and their given proof of this was the supposedly true similarities between all religions & equation of the crucification on the cross to something that happens with the stars. However the worship of a God is not part of all religions, and the crucification on a cross only applies to Judaism, Christianity & Islamic. They simply focused on a single event from the bible because Christianity is the dominant religion in America. I would've preferred if they went into more detail about other religions rather than focusing on western religions while ignoring eastern religions, thats all...
