I am loading via 7H and yeah I am aware of the 60FPS issue with FFNX and that is set to 15FPS personally. I have the same setup on a different computer and everything is working fine over there so there is an issue with this PC it would seem.



Here are the mods I have enabled which aren't out of the norm. Animations is already set to 0:15FPS so that isn't the cause of my headache with this setup.

*bangs head against keyboard* I have been at this since last night and things still aren't working for me. Here's a link to my log file and I have already repaired both Windows 10 and .net Framework that is built into Windows 10. Game is unable to launch for me as can been seen. Launches but crashes as soon as it becomes responsive. Anyone have any idea what else I can try to do to fix this short of a complete reinstall of Windows 10 from scratch?

Battles take forever to load even on my i5 3570k with 16gb of 1866mhz ram and a nvidia 970 far from lowend even tho it isn't the latest and greatest setup. I have tried both running it from my SSD and my HDD and it doesn't matter which disc I use.

I removed everything because I was moving FF7 to a different disk but after installing and running the converter on the new install which worked I am running into that when I try and download mods using 7th Heaven

Also nothing happens when I click Aali Driver Settings meaning I can't set those up either for some reason.

Edit: Ok Solved it by redownloading 7th Heaven

Just open the settings and enter the correct link to the exe.

I have already fixed it. Just letting others know that just replacing files isn't enough and you are going to need to do more to get it working

It was setup and working fine before I updated and all I did was replace my old 7th heaven install with the files from the new update

@EQ2Alza looks like we have a MAJOR issue with the newest 7th Haven update It is putting mods into

Yeah the issu is from the DPI scaling in Windows 10 setting it to 100% will fix the issue or you can right click on 7th heaven and go to properties and go to the compatability tab and click on the button that says Change high DPI settings and then change it to System Enhanced instead of application.

Does the gold saucer mod thats apart of 7th heaven change it so that the GP guy by the ropeway save point no longer shows up? I ask because I have yet to see him and I have been trying for a good hour+ of back and forth so I can purchase some GP from him.

I have a similar issue if I try and use either BC or MO exe's base exe works perfectly fine for me on my laptop but it prevents me from using either Becuase of Menu Overhaul which is just annoying. So yeah orunning the converter again may NOT fix the issue and if you use either or both try disabling them and seeing if the base exe boots for you with the rest of the mods you use.

Edit: Ok after updating to 1.0.9 and rerunning the converter things seem to be working now. I wonder if my other mods will work now that I have this working.

Ok after some more configuring I have narrowed the problem down to Gameplay - Tweaks and Cheats and The Reunion - Because and Menu Overhaul.

Beginning to wonder if the Fall Creators Update on Windows 10 Pro is causing it with a security feature or something.

Already have it set to use the nvidia card as I reinstalled into a different folder the second time and thus had to redo the nvidia stuff sot hats taken care of and I am already running 391 as I play FFXV on here as well and the latest drivers were for that.

I am more than positive about that as the game is working perfectly with ALL mods and ff7_bc.exe on my desktop but not the laptop even following the same steps I did on the desktop. and as I said I completely started from scratch before posting the 2nd post in this thread

Hmm wonder if upping the amount of cards needed to refine would be helpful to negate the way they break the game so easily. For example instead of needing 1 go with 5 and instead of needing 3 go with 15 cards instead so basically times the amount needed to refine by like 5 for example.
